1) Learn how to flow traffic.
2) Quit playing FCS teams.
3) Quit farming out your best NC games to neutral sites.
4) Get rid of alumnium benches, make real chairback seats, make them larger and shrink capacity.
5) Can the canned music.
6) Put HD screens in the concession areas and the bathroom areas.
7) Quit charging for on-campus parking outside of stadium parking lots.
8) Show scores and highlights of other games during timeouts.
9) Cut concession prices.
10) Quit looking to make every last possible buck out of your customers.

Almost none of these will happen, but you asked.

Remove the parking restrictions.
Lower drinking age to 18
Reopen campus for tailgating.
Make parking free again outside of the lots east of nicholson between the stadium and nicholson ext.
End the smoking ban on campus and in the stadium
Sell cheep beer and shots of crown everywhere
Put eduroam wifi routers in the student section
Have good jambalaya for sale
Only allow non-club seats to be purchased by individuals rather than corporations
No more contra-flow, roadblocks, or traffic police of any kind
Open the gates after halftime if the stadium's not full for anyone who wants to attend.
Let the student section curse, but don't allow that area to be mic'd for tv
Stop requiring id's with student tickets. Make all tickets freely and easily transferable.

You can't punish people for leaving early. End of story. Name one other stadium that has ever done this. It's s stupid idea. It will never happen. NEVER. Quit bringing it up.

I would be completely ok with that. Actually, that is an outstanding idea.

Texas A&M just formed a game day experience committee of 100 people like you are suggesting and made a couple dozen changes to the game day atmosphere. The committee included season ticket holders, players, students and admin. We have a ton of parking so parking and traffic are not an issue for us.

They listened. Bottled water is now $2 instead of $6. They dumped the script and now the yell leaders and band have full control of when they do their thing. Commercials and VIP introductions on the field are now minimal. Fixed the sound system which was either crystal clear, blaring or muffled. Redid team walk in actually added a DJ but he only plays here are there for filler. They even paid the Prairie View A&M band to come over for a half time show when the other team did not bring their band. There were many more.

Of course now people are complaining about the new changes as well. Go figure.

Sell beer, done. Stadium will be full till the end of the third and people will then trickle out but it won't be a mass exodus so you would notice it much less.

You are spot on. There is no going back to those days. As much fun as they were time and technology have passed them by. And i have been a Tiger fan for 50 years

I'm not disagreeing with you. By itself, its not much. But when you keep pushing the regular fans away time after time, it adds up. I'm talking about the cumulative effect.

I went to the game last night and stayed until the end. I've been going to home games since the late 1980's. I left feeling sad about what has become of the LSU Football home game experience. Yes, it has been dropping for a while now but I couldn't believe how pitiful it was last night

It's like this across the board in CFB. Check out Tennessee yesterday if you want to see how bad it can get, or any USC / West coast games.

Relative to everyone else LSU still has a good of an atmosphere as you'll find. If we start winning again it'll be even better

Entertain the fans during timeouts... if the games are going to last 4-4.5 hours you have to provide entertainment for 4-4.5 hours and that doesn't happen. Some options:
frisbee dog, unicycle bowl lady, anything to entertain the fans hell bring a damn mime on the field.
Play other game highlights from important games.
Announce important scores that pertain to LSU. (Use to be awesome to hear the fans cheer or sigh when they would announce an SEC score, and for some reason they never do anymore).
Have the band play more... Neck... Hey Baby.

BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD We know and can probably all list the corporate sponsors of LSU athletics. Quit wasting that time to bore us to death. Sponsorship announcements probably take up 90% of the screen time and 90% of the announcements during timeouts.

The LSU game day experience is a shell of what it used to be and it is sad seeing that happening.

I share your melancholy at the state of Tiger Stadium. It used to be the marquee venue in all of sport, a jewel. As an LSU alum, it made me proud. I relished showcasing it for colleagues and friends from the north. Now it's a prosaic mediocrity. Declining attendence and early departures aren't unique to LSU, but they are definitely more pronounced here. What pains me most is that there is no clear, definitive solution. Fielding a promising, legitimate NC contender with a modern offense might help. As might selling alcohol, instituting a point system, and restricting the number of tickets owned by corporations. But ultimately, I think much of the blame is attributable to the natural character of our fan base. Many LSU fans appear to be downright lazy and disinterested. The passion has waned. It's sad.

Essentials
1. Play more interesting opponents AT Home (or in Houston... selfish reason) No one gets exited about Troy.
2. Traffic in and out needs to be seriously addressed.
*More/Free shuttles from remote locations with express lanes for shuttles after game ends. Dilute the traffic away from the stadium. A bus full of 60 people removes cars near the stadium.
*Put entertainment (TV's with replays or other games/music/food stands/etc)/ seating near shuttles so people waiting are less irritated and more likely to use the shuttles again.
*Counter flow with parking designed to exit to certain parts of town. Clearly marked!)
3. Put a good product on the field!
4. Find replacements for Alleva/King

Additionals
1. Better food (We're in LA!) or at least more reasonably priced crappy food...
2. Sell beer (Will more than offset reasonably priced water)
3. Clean up campus! Does LSU own a pressure washer? Can they get people to clean while tailgating?
4. Reasonable PU/DO accommodations for tailgating .
5. Rickshaws or shuttle services on campus
6. Bathrooms... on campus/in stadium- more and better
7. Leave the college kids alone
8. Have an area for little kids near the stadium.
9. Cool down areas

I said this before the season started and got a ton of grief about it from others on this board. Stop increasing the price of tickets. I would love to come to a home game and bring my family but I'm not spending that much money when I can just watch it at home.

Get rid of the piped in music. Let the damn band play.
Everybody that agrees with this HAS to contact the LSUAD and let your opinions be known.

Yall saw first hand what happened last year after they banned the visiting bands from playing at half-time.

There was a mass uprising and complaints from all over the country.

The LSUAD DG's then quickly did a reversal on that asinine policy decision.

May take "Legal Action" to make the LSUAD get rid of the PIM.

I have actually spoken to a well known BR Attorney about this at length and is of the opinion that there may be several legal "Causes of Action" to this particular problem that may be valid to pursue!
