If he wore purple and gold you would have accused him of cheering for Washington.

Did he just commit a slip? Does TM7 coming back to school open the door for a return this year if he does EVERYTHING he is supposed to? Miles says he talked to TM7 last week, so they are in contact.

I am not saying that he will be back. I am just wondering why Les left the door open by putting it in his own hands.

no he didnt, He is a lot smarter than people give him credit for. he knows how to answer a question with out answering it.

I feel he meant, "I kicked him off the team, he he taking the long hard road to recovery, and i applaud him for it. Im not worried about him until next year but i keep in toch because i care about me players/x players and hope they succeed."

He was wrong the last time he did that in a presser.

shite, I thought I was alone thinking he may return this year. You never know, crazy things always happen around the bayou's of Louisiana! Whether he returns or not LSU will field a capable team that will be strong at the back end of the season. A quality performance each Saturday by a quality team with the WANT to win, you can't top that.

Back to the original topic, has anyone listened to the interview? It is less than 4 minutes, I think. Why wouldn't Les just say no?
Because he enjoys mind fricking simple minded people like Jim Rome and many LSU fans.

It was a T-shirt you freaking idiot. Not everyone is obsessed with LSU football like our fans. Players don't have that sense like we do. That is the stupidest statement ever you gave

here is what i read.. from the COW

quote:

7. The Tyrann Mathieu situation
Mathieu is back on campus and making sure he’s visible and doing the things normal college students do. In about two weeks, LSU coaches will start talking about how Mathieu will be back if he “does everything right.” About two weeks later, Mathieu will be allowed to practice with the team because he’s “doing everything we’ve asked of him.” And then will come the date at Texas A&M on the road against a dangerous passing team, and the Honey Badger will make his much-ballyhooed debut to get one week under his belt before Alabama comes to town a week later.

Fine, so that’s not going to happen and LSU as a school appears to be standing firm on its policy – remember, this is an LSU imposed sanction and not an NCAA one – but it’s the SEC and LSU is in the thick of a national championship chase. Don’t be shocked by anything.

You mean the two times they showed him sitting in the stands?

He is still all about himself.

Obviously. He's only in the stands at an LSU football game.

Sure seems like he's only thinking about himself to me as well.

Retard.

What's retarded is that a thread about TM7 wearing a red T-shirt actually garners 5 pages of discussion.

I'm with you there. The stuff you see on here makes you wonder about our "fans."

The ones I see at the games are always decent but on here, man, it's the complete opposite.

I try to resist over-parsing, but it seems that Tyrann is jumping through the hoops and going through the maze of strictly supervised "double secret probation" type of rehab.

Sometimes I just lean toward them being here just to sabotage the program. No way somebody that cares about these kids or LSU could type some of the shite that appears on here. Every athlete or recruit knows someone who posts here or they post/posted here themselves, so this shite does get back to them, and the people you see degrading kids know that too, so why are they doing it?

Because they think they know more than the actual coaches and don't have the backbone to say something to someone's face.

They have to hide behind their computer and voice "what they would do." Just ignore them.

Unless we are having serious problems with our secondary I don't know that I want that distraction going into Bama. The kid is an amazing talent I give him that and I absolutely hate not having him on the team but if that plays out he will have missed half a season of practice and then be thrown out there a week before the biggest game of the year. The game that will determine whether we play for the national championship or not?

Not even mentioning the media. The distractions for this game are going to be bad enough considering the LSU/Bama history, I don't think we need to throw the "return of the honey badger" into the mix. That just spells trouble imo.

All that said... No way in hell he comes back this season

No doubt the whole hidden ID thing makes it easy for the brave jerk in some to come out, but also not all posting here under cover of "LSU fan" are in fact LSU fans.

I never take this stuff too serious or see much of it as a true statement bout the normal LSU fan.

The point should be that he shouldn't be the center of attention now. He isn't on the team! Two games don't make a season but I think the team will survive without him. There are some good, even potentially great players, who have taken his place. The linebackers are playing much better than last year. We don't need the nickel back rush as much.

I don't care if he wears red, green, blue or indigo. Concentrate on the team that is playing right now and support them!
