After listening to the clip, and the tone and way Les answered, I would surmise that Les has in no way thought about bringing TM7 back during this season. He seems emphatic about letting his punishment stick throughout the season as to drive his point home. I hope to see Tyrann next year decked out in the LSU uniform.

University policy. Miles has no say in the matter. TM7 isn't coming back this year.

Makes no sense to allow him back this year. It isn't going to happen thank goodness. Why would any tiger fan want TM to play football for LSU this season? Why do you want LSU to be penalized for breaking NCAA rules? Are all of you that want him back this year so tied up in pulling for TM that you don't care about any of the other players the coach and the fans and the recruits that would all suffer just so he could play this season? I don't understand that line of thinking. Why go the USC/Ohio state route when we have a chance at winning awards? Does a National Championship mean nothing to you?

I think he's doing what needs to be done. Do what you need to do, take your classes, keep your nose clean, then go from there.
I'm sure it kills him to not walk down the hill with his former teammates. As is to sit in the stands and watch the game when he knows he could be out there tearing it up. Not knocking our corners btw.
All this is motivation for him to keep his nose clean.
If he does that, I'll certainly be cheering for him when he's back on the team next season.

LSU has a written drug policy. That policy states that TM must sit out for an entire year. Although this is not an NCAA policy the NCAA does have rules that mandate LSU follow its own policy.
If LSU was to violate an LSU written drug policy then the NCAA rules have been violated and sanctions or penalties would be coming down the pike!
