Its not his decision anyway. Its a school wide rule that the Athletic Department removed him from the team for. Even if Les doesn't directly say it, a return this season isn't even possible. I'm not even sure that a return next year is possible

What part of "I have given no thought to that" lead you to believe a "Yes" was meant?

It isn't his place to say either way - it's in the hands of NCAA compliance.

I think he'll be back. I am almost positive that I am in the minority.

I don't think he meant "yes." I am asking why he didn't just say "no."

because deciding whether he comes back or not is not a priority. His priority right now is winning every game and winning a NC to appease our sorry sack of shite fans.

I get that, but it sounds like that it is a decision still on the table. If it were not possible, he could just say that instead of saying that he did not have time to think about it.

Did he just commit a slip? Does TM7 coming back to school open the door for a return this year if he does EVERYTHING he is supposed to? Miles says he talked to TM7 last week, so they are in contact.

I am not saying that he will be back. I am just wondering why Les left the door open by putting it in his own hands.

Have you ever played football? Have you ever been the star player then suddenly get benched? Your not a happy camper right?

Well multiply that by ten. Because your not only on the bench, but your not allowed anywhere close to the team, the whole season. Sorry he's not decked out in a jersey with pom poms directing the band.

This. It must be downright awful to sit there watching his teammates slaughter Washington and have a good time. He was slated to have a gigantic role on a championship caliber team and make a heisman run, not to mention the limbo his NFL career is in because of this. That's heartbreaking...probably pretty hard to be excited. He also has no idea the camera is on him the whole time

They could absolutely reinstate him if they see fit. I mean, wtf else would he be at lsu? I mean really, he is trying to get back on the team, and someone somewhere told him he had a shot if he did x,y,z or he would have definitely gone somewhere where he could train and play, move on to the league

This is what I am thinking. He failed internal drug tests and got kicked off the team. They expected him to move on, but he surprised them and re-enrolled in school and is paying his own way. If he does all he is supposed to, is paying his own way, and if the team votes him back on, why not bring him back halfway through the season? He would have been severely punished - losing his scholarship, his starting role, and half his season. If he came back for the end, he can then go pro.

Why not?

Again, I am not saying it will happen. But, it seems plausible. Team standards are upheld and TM7 gets to contribute.

ive seen a couple of writer's who think TM7 will be back by the Bama game

it could happen.. next time Miles is asked, we will hear that TM7 is doing all the right things.. then someone will plant the seed in the media a couple of weeks before Bama..

thats what i read, anyway

Well, there is an off week before the Bama game.

Bama fans/media would howl and cry and whine.

Tiger Stadium would blow up.

Have TM7 play a nickel/rover back role and create havoc around the LOS. Jalen Mills is doing great. Just turn TM7 loose.

I don't know if it will happen, but it would make a great story.

I think he'll be back on the team next year, if he stays clean all year. Don't think he would be at LSU otherwise. It's not like the kid is giving up football.

I'm guessing the "wearing red" comment was in reference to a gang. I wear red and am in no way affiliated with a gang. Millions of people wear red every day that aren't affiliated with a gang. Is it just because he's a young black man that happened to grow up rough and likes to smoke a little reefer on the side? 99% of this gang bullshite is meaningless anyway. I see kids of all colors, every day, claiming "Blood Gang all day". They have absolutely no clue as to what the hell they're referencing. It comes from the music they listen to(not a fight against rap; I'm a rap fan) and the jokes of artists that claim the same thing. Most of which would shite their pants if actually faced with real gang issues. In closing, don't typecast a kid because of how he looks. It makes you more of an idiot than the idiots you're disparaging.
