do you honestly think NFL clubs in the top 10 blame LF for skipping the meaningless bowl game to rehab and get ready for the combine/NFL Career?

He did and he was too injured to play.
Probably a factor in losing the game.

He was maybe 65%. He made a bad decision, but that doesn't mean he wasn't really affected by the injury. Any fool watching that game could see that he was.

You are certainly preaching to the choir. For folks who do not follow LF and LSU as closely as you and I, I can see how they reach their opinions. Unfortunately, their short-sided perception is his reality. I don't think these feelings will last beyond the 2016 season, so that's good for LF.

It will all be roses and unicorns come April, I can assure you.

But he should just be honest and say I am a selfish player that has no desire to be a team guy. I plan on letting all of my teammates down and satisfying only the guy in the mirror. Stanford and my teammates have done nothing to assist me in getting to the point I am today so screw them. Me first, me first, me first. Whatever happened to the old saying there is no I in team?

I heard someone on Fox Sports Radio speaking about Fournette, saying, "He was supposedly too injured to play in the Florida game, then got into a fight with a Florida assistant coach, then all of a sudden wants to play in the game so he does."

Well, that IS what happened

them too

But I bet some of the same guys that were saying "should LF sit out the season" are the same ones saying "does he have the want". Next they're gonna be questioning "his love of the game". Egg, you're no schmoe. You know what this is. It's the media creating news when there is none. Making mountains out of molehills

If Fournette would have just thought this through about 1 minute, he could have just had Coach declare him ineligible due to injury. Of course he would have to delay signing one more week and thus, being a Tiger but this would be a non-issue.

Old news.

If ranters or media continue to beat this "old dog", they are the problem! I can understand the media's financial interest in trying to manufacture controversy. Why should others continue to do so?

LF is doing what is right for him and his family. He is and will always be a great Tiger! End of story.

From what I undestand is that since LF signed with an agent, he is no longer allowed to travel with the team. He can pay his own way and LSU can give him a sideline pass if they want him to be on the field level.

National media sucks. Most of them don't even know the complete story.

That's my understanding too. Him being there or not being there will speak volumes. I agree with his decision not to play, but there's no reason he shouldn't be there to lend whatever support he can one last time. Hell, even if it is for self serving reasons(which I don't think it would be). His presence could help to provide a better answer to any questions an NFL team may have about "why'd u quit on your team"

Still zero excuse for him to just bolt on the team and sporting new 100k watches. Beckwith has a torn ACL and he's at all the practices. Rickey Jefferson has been out most the season and he's still quite a presence.

I love LF, but his rep is slightly tarnished. In 30 years, he will be talked about as a legend, but for the generation now, it won't sit well
