And they will ask it. They're gonna ask questions to get a reaction. He will get asked "why did u quit" all while knowing they agree with the decision

Jamal Adams and other draft eligible players should sit. All players at this point are nursing some bumps and bruises. I don't want Adams to potentially get hurt worse than he may be.

I'll just be glad when the season is over and LF is drafted to be honest with you.

I think the "perception" in the media is that he is indeed able to play, but is milking this injury for all its worth.

As an LSU fan I don't care if he is.

Same way with CM at Stanford. Those guys gave their respective programs 3 solid years and a lot of great plays.

If they don't want to play in a bowl game that doesn't mean that much to them, I got no problem with it.

They need a narrative. So that's what they are going with. It's journalist "group think" and it has no relation to objective truth. It's just this week's narrative. Next week it will just as likely be the opposite. When they want him to be "the brave kid surviving on the mean streets of Nola" that's what they sell, when they want him to be "the entitled athlete who bailed on his team" he'll be that. It's just lazy narrative.

It hasn't annoyed me because I haven't watched ESPN for years other than the actual games.

The same media that was talking about his skipping his entire fricking junior year towards the end of his sophomore campaign to avoid injury?

They can all get fricked with a chainsaw.

Exactly. This doesn't effect his draft status one bit. They need bullshite to talk about to stay in business. He's about to get paid

MCaffrey is not injured and is truly skipping his bowl to avoid injury. Fournette should not be lumped into the same discussion.

Wrong. They're both skipping.

At the gym earlier and saw this on one of the many ESPN channels. TV was muted but CC was on. They completely mischaracterized LF7's situation.

If LF7 wanted his situation covered fairly, he should have attended at Tier 1 school where they would know his kids' shoe size. Go to a Tier 2 school, you get Tier 2 coverage.

Even this isn't fair. McCaffrey leads the nation in touches for the last two years at 672 not including his returns. Only two other power 5 players had 550. Let him save his body

I agree that he has toted the rock more than anyone. It's just that these guys are getting paid huge scholarship money (at Stanford at $44,757 per year) to play football for their school. If I don't work, I don't get paid. His job for the school is to play football. He needs to work if he is able. LF7 is a different story as we have stated many times already.

The same media saying he should forgo his junior year and concentrate on the draft. Now they are bashing him for not playing in the bowl game? Imagine that.....bunch of frickin clowns!!! They need to make up their minds.....can't have it both ways!

LF7 quit. We can still respect him and appreciate what he did as a tiger. Doesn't change the fact that he quit. And I'm not positive I wouldn't have done the same thing had I been in his shoes.

But no need to make excuses for him.

more like he's getting a raw deal by LSU fans.

The dude deserves it. He's been nothing but a distraction all year with his bum ankle. Dude shoulda sat out until he was healthy and then played. Taking legit carries away from Guice was his real crime this year. That and he lost us the FL game.

Can't wait for him to be gone and have real team players carrying the rock. No matter how you cut it LF7 was a cancer in the locker room. No one is bigger than the program. One Team One Heartbeat.

Fournette can do whatever he wants but I think the way things happened is what has caused all of the conversation. If LF7 had simply said he was injured and couldn't play there would be no issue. Posting pictures of himself with his new agent is saying he has moved on.

Regardless of why he is truly sitting out, the story now is he's selfish. That won't change and you can thank Social Media for that. Fournette really brought this on himself by posting the pictures and signing with an agent. He has given the media all the ammunition they need to spin this 24/7 as they try to fill airtime.

Every possible comment, both accurate and inaccurate has been covered hence...so no need to add to it

BUT, you know what was really, really, really amazing to watch last weekend on ESPNU, LSU Vs Alabama, 1998. You remember the terrible loss we experienced with Bama's 4th quarter comeback.

What's this got to do with the price of onions? Well, there was a moment in the game when the two broadcasters were speaking of Kevin Faulk's record and his contribution to his beloved teammates. The subject matter..."This all-American tailback could have gone pro his junior year, but instead did as a real teammate and man does and came back for his senior year. Just look at the effort he puts into every play, that's the kind of man I want on my team".

So there you go big boy, back in the day when a team meant something and still does at quite a few places, even in the SEC. My disappointment has been expressed.
