Lee did great for 8 or 9 games, hell he about set a record for attempts or completions without an interception... He is not on a short leash or anywhere close to done.. He will be back stronger than ever... we need his arm, just like we need JJ's legs..

and thats how it is..

I actually have the 1979 USC game on DVD, and Woodley sucked. I don't know why on Earth Charlie Mac played him that night because it was so apparent that Ensminger was on and they might have won the game had he played the whole game solo.

There's my contribution.

Lee was pulled for an hour after his first pick in 100 attempts. The first play back they call for a 40 yard pass. That's not exactly setting Lee up to succeed.

Why is it so hard to understand that JL was not pulled because he threw his first and second picks in while, he was pulled because he was too terrified to stand there and make a pass or think straight for that matter. When JL's f'd up he has received way more excuses than the other guy, then those same people tell JJ supporters stop making excuses...WTF?

Before it was:
"He was thrown to the wolves before he was ready"...He was a RS Frosh when he started, JJ was a True Frosh when he started. It happened again this year as a 5th year senior. People are still saying he was forced into action. Isn't that what everybody wanted, for him to play?

"Miles needs to let him build up his confidence"...how much help does a person need to build there own confidence? Again, he's a fifth year senior, yet people still want to baby him.

"He had to wait too long to attempt his next pass after his first INT, over an hour"...It didn't matter when he threw his next pass, he was a "deer in headlights" once again. If he is going to do that sh*t in big games, then he should be right next to CLM when the Offense is on the field.

Bottom line is JJ showed the heart it took to play againt an intimidating D in crucial moments, went toe to toe with them, and came out on top because he had the fight it took to stomp those b*tches.

You know you gotta wonder if they will ever do a 30 for 30 espn special about JJ vs JLee. Im curious to know if any of the players or coaches involved will ever write a book about what happened the last 4 years.

In the end my dream scenario for both JJ and JL would that they both lead TD drives during the championship games and hoist up the crystal ball high in the air for the cameras.

........the end. And they lived happily ever after.

Bottom line is: we needed JJ's legs to run the option, which was producing that night. That is the bottom line..

Stop it with this.... Lee is on a shorter leash, or JJ is Miles' boy. It's all conjecture.

To be honest, it wouldn't be difficult to draw this conclusion.

How soon we fotget that Lee has led LSU to a # 1 ranking, something jefferson has never done. Now he is thrown under the the bus by miles and jefferson family and friends Sad but true!!!!

1) Jefferson does bad, we punt

2) Lee does bad, we give the other team the ball a lot closer to our endzone

Jefferson's "bad" is safer than Lee's. It's that simple. And his speed and ability to pick up 1st downs with his legs is a huge plus. He's just safer.

Or Lee does bad we turn it over and the defense has to hold.

JJ does bad and it is a safety - direct points PLUS the opponent gets the ball.

How many points did 'bama get off Lee's mistakes?

How many points did WKU get off JJ's?

Yeah that is what I thought.

How has he been thrown under the bus?

Are you certain he wasn't being disciplined last week?

I was there. Greatest college game I've ever attended in person. I want that DVD.

Which QB has allowed defenses to score more points over their careers?

Yeah that's what I thought.

Exactly. Same leash for both players. It is obvious -- LES just wants to WIN!

I guarantee you every coach in the nation would pull their starter if he threw 2 picks in 11 plays,

Actually not. Do you not remember West Virginia last year when JJ threw 2 interceptions in his first 12. So Mile's track record is not this as he was not benched.

Lee has not been thrown under any bus. If Jefferson has outperformed him on the field and in practice, then Jefferson deserves to be the starter. If he hasn't, then he won't. If Jefferson starts the rest of this season, its because he has earned it on the practice field and the coaches feel like he puts them in the best position to win going forward. Point blank.

This whole Lee led us to the #1 ranking argument is dumb. Lee didn't light it up against any single opponent this season. Our running game and defense has won every game this season for us. Since reinstatement, Jefferson has shown he can throw the PA pass just as well as Lee has. The coaching staff knows this, and thats why they have this decision to make going forward.

But but that's Crowton's fault.
