yes its a QB thread, get over it... but we saw a short leash with Lee against bama and barely got to see Lee at all against WKU..if JJ starts the arky game and starts poorly would Les be so quick to pull JJ for Lee? and be honest because the obvious answer is a definite NO.

And no, I am NOT rooting for JJ to fail, I think he saved our season in T-town and played pretty well last week.

1) Jefferson does bad, we punt

2) Lee does bad, we give the other team the ball a lot closer to our endzone

Jefferson's "bad" is safer than Lee's. It's that simple. And his speed and ability to pick up 1st downs with his legs is a huge plus. He's just safer.

You are a dumbass. You do know he settled in at #2 on LSU's alltime list for most completions without an interception, ahead of a lot of stars LSU has been blessed with at the position over the years? We just don't happen to have one of those stars now, unless one of those three guys on the bench is one.

He's just safer

How many Interceptions did he have last year when he was the regular? Fumbles? Sacks?

They also should have eased him in during the second pick. He hadn't taken a snap since the 1st pick, which was almost a hour and a half before.

I don't get all this. We are just fans, but for every coach on this staff, it's career defining.

I think they will play who ever gives them the best chance to win.

If Elmer Fud marches out there, so be it

I feel the same way dreaux. Have stated it many times.

Some people are taking it personal that lee didn't start against western fricking Kentucky. Acting like lee is their son or something.

All that matters is to win. No matter how. Keep winning.

These two qbs can lead us to a title.

Just. fricking. Win.

I'm sure this thread will add valuable discussion to the 10,000 previous pages on related subjects.

How many turnovers did JJ have last year?

something like 13 ints and 9 fumbles.

I hardly think that he is safer than Lee has been over the past 2 years.

+1

We could be 17-0 and someone would just have to complain or do these "what if" things.

Remember when people actually savored and were happy about things? Those were the days.....

Tell you what-when Team Jefferswag quits calling JL an interception machine based on his past, I will quit comparing JJ to his past. 13 touchdowns versus 3 interceptions seems like a pretty damn strong ratio.

For instance, how about JJ's 6 sacks in limited playing time-does that mean he would have 37 if he played an entire season like he did in 2009?

I have purposefully steered clear of all the QB bs. As soon as one makes the smallest mistake it's finger pointing, then the other one makes one and they point back

You know, I was talking with someone on the phone the other day who is "close" to the program and he said something very similar. Apparently, Miles actually trusts Jefferson in a pinch more than he does Lee. Hell, it's Miles' job on the line. I assume he's not insane.

For the idiots who didn't see where I said this wasn't a JJ Flame, all i was asking is do you think If JJ has a SHITE start and we are in danger of losing at home, will Les go to Lee or stick with JJ.

People on this board no longer care about talking football, just looking for someone to talk internet trash too, mature

Lee on a shorter leash with Les

You are out of your mind if you believe this. Who was the QB who beat Oregon? or West Virginia? or Florida? Auburn? Moo State?

If he was on a "shorter leash" the guy wouldn't have started. Much less have stuck around since '08.

I'm want to make clear I back both QB's but JL played good football with the exception of the Bama game, we all know that.

Stop it with this.... Lee is on a shorter leash, or JJ is Miles' boy. It's all conjecture.

Back up the team and quit pissing and moaning about shite we, as fans, know nothing about.
