So, why did we need JJ back so badly that there were lengthy threads of post after post eager to give him his rightful position back, never mind we were winning handily with an offense that was purring?

I don't know and can't answer that.

I have said all along that I am fine with lee starting and playing majority of snaps and JJ coming in situationally.

But I truly do not care who actually does start and plays as long as we win. I can't do anything about it. So I will enjoy who is leading the tigers on the field.

Of course it is. And I am not arguing that this is my stance, just that it appears to be Les's. And isn't that was this thread is about--Lee's apparant shorter leash?

That's what I thought. Apparently I was wrong.

Apparently you have missed the hundreds of other threads containing the "lee was done wrong and miles keeps disrespecting lee" crowd.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Jefferson does bad, we punt

2) Lee does bad, we give the other team the ball a lot closer to our endzone

State when that happened this season. The team was 4-0 against some pretty good competition while JJ was no where to be found. JL has thrown 3 int's and none resulted in points for the other team. JJ gave up 2 pts this wek past. If Lee had done the same he would have been benched. Be honest.

Because anyone who knows anything about football would rather have 2 capable QB's in case one gets injured.

You're not gonna get me to argue that Lee has not played very well so far this season. I will say our competition outside of Oregon and Bama has not been all that great, though. Mississippi State, Florida, and Aurburn have all turned out to be quite mediocre.

He has been fantastic not turning the ball over so far. But I think some teams have not capitalized on some of his poor throws. Can you seriously argue with a straight face that Lee doesn't occassionally get scared and throw the ball up for grabs in the face of pressure ? Does that not scare you?

Probably so. I am not the coach. Les is. And this thread was about why he may or may not have given Lee a shorter leash than Jefferson. I am responding to that, not what I would do. How can y'all not see this?

So one post in this thread negates the hundreds of posts in other threads?

We will certainly need both, especially when/if one loses eligibility

A sack in the Endzone=2 points for the other team.
JL has thrown 3 picks this year. Two of them deep which would equal a sack plus a punt.

Perfect! Another QB thread. Was wondering what we would discuss today!

I have concluded that JL supporters refuse to admit that this is a tendency of his. He did it twice in the bama game prior to throwing the picks.

I've seen this a bunch lately. You are aware that Bama was able to kick a FG without picking up a first down after Lee's second pick, right?

And the first one was at the 47 but the defense forced a 3 and out.

yeah i read them, and i saw very few people use that, yet you continue to use that in every thread acting as if it's the opinion of the majority of people who think lee is better. not true.
