Are you really trying to insult Lange by comparing him to the only player every drafted #1 overall in program history?

I didn't say that,I responded to it.

TCU.
8-4 with a nearly 4 era last year is hardly great. Go look at the number of innings and his pitch count from last year. He went less innings and gave it up earlier than the year before.
You can say whatever you want, I watched every game of his including one or 2 with Team USA. It is hitters with patience at the plate that gets him.

The game today where it's clear Poche doesn't have command of his curveball and is still able to compete, is why I'm saying Lange is a talent with a high ceiling, but is not a nearly complete product. He is very good, but there is so much more he can be.

You are correct. Pro hitters will not swing at his spiked curve ball. His change up looked great last night and he spotted the fastball well.

Alex will be a likely first round draft pick despite some of yalls "expert" analysis of his regression, regardless of what happens the rest of the season. What's next...Poche will go undrafted LOL?!?!?!?

What happens after the draft is anyone's guess, much like any number of other top picks who did not pan out... there aint no telling turd! Dude has good movement on his FB, solid 12/6'ish curve and a good slider... Not as polished as Nola but well ahead of Ranaudo, not quite the stuff of Gaussman. Still pretty damned strong company to be in!!!
