re: What's going on at United Airlines? My flight making an emergency landing - halleburton
So this 'computer outage' or whatever it is...is it a danger to flights already in the air? I don't understand why they would have to divert current flights to another airport if not. Is it scheduling related? Financial? Hackers took control of an aircraft? ...

Did you completely disassemble it? Thanks for advice guys, looking into a few shops now. If it lasts like it is supposed to, should be well worth the money. ...

Cerakote cost? - halleburton
Anyone know ballpark pricing to have an Abolt cerakoted? It is matte black, but has developed surface rust over the past decade, and I can't get the finish back to look good after removing the factory finish. Wondering if a cerakote job would be a viable option to get it looking good again. Don'...

re: Calling OB Ballistics Experts - halleburton
Obviously it's not perfect, just pointing out that .75" low translates to a zero right at 100 yards. I've never shot a target past 100 yards but have killed several deer at 200 or a little longer. ...

re: Calling OB Ballistics Experts - halleburton
.75" low at 25 yards is definitely fine and pretty close to a 100 yard zero. As others have said, the L-R needs fixing asap, that only gets worse with distance. Federal has an easy ballistics calculator, just pick a bullet with a similar BC and you can modify zero and yards....

re: A400 not dropping shells from magazine - what's wrong? - halleburton
Does it have a magazine control lever on left side? My browning gold has a lever that will "lock" the rounds in the magazine, that allows you to switch the round in the chamber with a separate shell by hand. For instance if duck hunting and a hog runs up, you can toggle the lever, eject the shell, a...

$200 gift card to bass pro - halleburton
What should I get...I usually buy what I need outdoors related when I need it, but got this as a Christmas gift. Let's hear some suggestions. eta: more looking for specific suggestions rather than general suggestions, as in ammo / new fishing rod, although both are good suggestions. I'm wo...

Quick Sidetrack...Why does everyone get their panties in a wad over a "blind" link? It's not like he posted, "watch this, you'll never believe what happens! LINK" This seems to be way overdone and bitched about lately and is unwarranted. He clearly described what was linked......

re: Recommendations for AR10 & AK47 - NSFW for the Help - halleburton
If you don't want to break the bank, get a DPMS LR308. I have one and it's the most accurate rifle I have. Significantly better than my Abolt but it's heavy as hell. 3 shot group in about the same bullet hole at 100 yds, you could literally cover them all with a nickel. ...
Much of the water on this planet has an even older origin: half of the water on Earth is actually melted interstellar ice that predates the sun.
The same could be said about all of earth. All matter was floating around absently in space until gravity created planets/suns right?...

re: Has anybody ever experienced having a house re-piped? - halleburton
Like he said, more than likely a poorly wrapped/sleeved copper pipe in a slab. Copper and concrete do not mesh well, and will become a problem, just a matter of when. I've been building for 15 years and have never seen copper in a slab unless it was an architect that spec'd it for aesthetics in a ...

Real story is that at 6 years old you can't read cursive so you assume it is spelled "stein" as you get older because of how it is pronounced. This is a phenomenon for stupid people only....
