Say what you want but he isn't nearly as sharp as he was as a Freshman. His curveball two years ago was just plain nasty. Now it seems like he misses with it about 4 out of every 5 pitches. And 2 out of every 5 are "hanging."

2 of 5 aren't hanging. When he struggles with the fastball as he did tonight he has to rely to much on the curve. He throws his curve best when it is a hammer for a strike out not a get me over.

Pitchers will have there share of bad games. You can't always be dominate. Stop being a moran.

Y'all can say what y'all want about his curveball but if he's not locating his fastball like he wasn't tonight it doesn't matter how good that curve is.

It's only one game, give him a break.

His curve isn't supposed to be a strike when it is at it's best. Locating the fastball lets him bury the curve and make batters looks bad.

Needs a third pitch. Your not gonna beat teams like TCU without it. Needs to work on his change up.

He throws a change up and we have been saying curveball it really is a slider. Regardless he got beat tonight because he didn't throw the fastball well and had to many walks.

He may show a change up but by no means is it a legit third pitch for him.

Very few college pitchers have a legit third pitch. When he struggles it's not because he doesn't have a legit third pitch.

It's one game. Even Kershaw has an off game. Give credit where it's due as well, TCU batters laid off the close stuff and made him throw pitches. Lange has always relied on swings and misses on his curve outside of the zone. It was a good game plan, and Lange just couldn't spot his fastball tonight. It happens. If it becomes a habit then I start to worry, but I'm not sweating one start early in the season.

It isn't just one game, he was like this most of last year where he struggled with control and going deep into counts. His walks have definitely increased the last 2 years compared to his freshman year. I just hope he uses this as a learning experience and get back to form of freshman year and at spots of back end of last year.

He did not locate his fastball. That is why he struggled tonight.

I forgot; these athletes should be perfect. No mistakes. No bad games. It's pretty evident that those who think this way never played any sport.

Y'all are turning on lsu's ace because of one performance? Please cheer for another school. LSU appreciates it.
