Combined? Assuming that LSU’s 1,300 instructors average around $100,000 per year each, that’s $130,000,000 per year. Entire departments need to be shut down because they’re an embarrassment to higher education, so let’s start there rather than trying to save $300,000 on a basketball coach who would pay for herself in advertisement and goodwill.

Do we need to have the conversation again about how the Athletics department and the university are 2 separate entities? Coaching salaries and professor salaries have absolutely nothing to do with each other at LSU.
