I may be in the minority, but I kinda do like some 2:30 games sprinkled in our schedule. I know people will melt regardless, but it's not like we've had to play a lot of these lately. Plus, I'm pretty we haven't lost a home day game since 2008 IIRC.

LSU hasn't lost a day game in Tiger Stadium since 2008, going 11-0 in that time. 6 of those wins over ranked teams.

Well fingers crossed this game goes like that one.
Check out our teams. We are actually in much better shape this offseason than we were in 2011. More experience at WR, better RBs (which is crazy to think about), pretty even at DL but much better LBs and LB experience. While we don't have a beast like Mathieu, both Adams and Thomas will be real playmakers this year (Adams is already better than Eric Reid was at this point in their careers). White is Claiborne (well not as good yet), and we have Paris and Toliver an at least one of them should be really good this year. Don't forget Mills is the old veteran like Brandon Taylor and although we don't have a Ron Brooks at corner, I see Jefferson stepping up at safety to get us more turnovers. So while the secondary is below the 2011 one at the moment, everything else is better.
Also, we trade in our crazy OOC schedule from 2011 with a cakewalk.

CBS has announced that the "Game of the Week" for Sep. 19 will be the LSU vs. Auburn matchup, which is now set to take place at 2:30 p.m. CT in Tiger Stadium.

I don't mind a 2:30 game in late October or early November. Early September is another story.
Actually, it's a compliment that CBS wants the game, but I know that goes against the main school of thought on this board that a network actually has time and energy to waste on hating LSU (ducks to avoid eggs thrown).

Not a big deal IMO....2:30 games are cool. Only spoiled scared fans would think this is a problem........
