Yeah, Mississippi St. could potentially end up hosting if they do well enough in the tournament.

Same here. The off days got to be kind of pain after a while, but I wouldn't trade that trip for anything. I'll be there again this year as long as we are.

there actually is a few good things to do outside of the CWS, great restaurants, the Zoo is amazing, the strategic air and space museum about 30 min outside of Omaha. It's a great city.

lsu has a bad record against top 25. 5-8

It's not all that bad compared to some other teams. Florida State is 5-7, Ole Miss is 6-7, Rice is 3-6

Oh yeah we did a lot of that. But we had 3 days off after our Game 2 win and then another 2 days off after Game 3. So we played one game in 6 days.

The committee will look at LSU's non-conference schedule and not be very impressed...

I think that's kind of dumb because that's already factored into the RPI, doesn't need to be re-considered.

our current 6 game winning streak will be enough for them to look past that.

yeah OOC schedule
SOS

are both part of RPI. Yet you can take 3 knocks instead of 1 on your resume.

Went to a bunch of the other games. I think there was maybe one day we didn't go to any games at all. Of course several of those days there is only one game in the evening.

What are the records vs RPI top 25, top 50, top 100?

LSU has the 5th most wins in the nation against RPI top 50 teams. Which is nice, so we've got that going for us.

There's no point in having a formula that's 75% OWP and OOWP and still going back and looking at SoS after that. It annoys me every year.

Ole miss SOS of 18 vs LSU Sos of 43.

I saw that, just seems odd.

Their OOC series': @Stetson, v. Georgia State, v UCF, v AR Little Rock

SEC series different from LSU: 1-2 @ USC, 3-0 v MU, 3-0 @ Kentucky

LSU had @ Vandy, @UF, and v UT

Other Ole Miss OOC:
v UT-Martin
v ULM x2
Memphis x2 H&H
@Southeastern x2
Arkansas St x2 H&H
Southern Miss x2 (Pearl & Oxford)
v Ark Pine Bluff
v Murray St
MSU (Pearl)

Just seems like the discrepancy is pretty high. UCF series, MSU OOC game, Memphis (125 RPI), Arkansas ST (67 RPI)are what stands out. Just not that impressive.
