Just seems like the discrepancy is pretty high. UCF series, MSU OOC game, Memphis (125 RPI), Arkansas ST (67 RPI)are what stands out. Just not that impressive.

You basically laid out how LSU and OM pretty much scheduled OOC exactly the same way except the teams OM played were slightly better (especially with the teams closer to them, which everybody schedules midweek because they have to do so due to travel). Total luck of the draw. Sadly, I doubt the committee clowns are that smart.

Did we ever get a victor in the #Thunderdome orignal when you and HCB fought to the death?

When did they make that rule?

Always been that way. They waived it one year in 2002 (right after 9/11) when the NCAA was trying to cut down on travel costs.

The Circle Jerk Boys had an argument last night about this very topic. I've never heard of that happening but ell cited when it happened between Auburn and Alabama in 2002.

I didn't know that they waived the rule in 2002.

Yeah well that was the excuse they used. Remember that was the year we had the all-Louisiana regional.

Pretty sure they also dont allow two #1 seeds from the same conference to be paired together.

Unrelated news...Louisville down 2-1 to USF in the 6th. Hopefully Houston loses today to UCF.
