Just so we are clear...Hanny NEVER broke news about CC.

He was asked about what he had heard, and he said to the best of his knowledge, it was true.
I just think there's a group of rantards and tiger fans that are on a witch hunt for a guy that does a damn good job bringing balanced perspective of LSU sports. The guy isn't just some fly by night shock jock. He's established and a credit to the LSU sports radio network.

Yeah, he gets a pass from me. There isn't another LSU media-type member in his league, IMO.
But I really can't forgive him for calling all of the Iowa precincts the other night and telling voters that Carson dropped out of the race.

I love Hanny calling baseball. He does some good behind the scenes. Never cared much for him as a radio personality, though. Not a like or dislike. I think here, he was just putting out an opinion as "fact" and probably should have left out "sources" and just said it was a guess of his. He's been doing this long enough to know that. Cam will leave as planned and no one will remember this in August.
