We are chartering USC to and from BR, a billboard supporting the gamecocks, playing sandstorm before the game, hosting a south carolina tailgate before the game, donating proceeds to South carolina, red cross accepting donations on their behalf, a hype video, moment of silence, and presenting their student government with keys to the stadium, but sure, guess that isn't much

Josh, my man. Great post. Can I give two up votes?

I have my doubts about that. We've only sold like 10k tickets in the last 30 hours. I have no reason to think we'll sell more than that in the next 20 hours

My theory is people are just like "frick it, I can just get tickets anywhere I want tomorrow at the stadium". We'll see if I am right or wrong, just going on what I think will happen.

"For the 9999999999999999999999999th time, South Carolina sets the prices. We send them the revenue."

Then why are we worried about it. Stupid is as stupid does. Let's go kick their azzes and move on to Florida.

I definitely think there will be more walk-up than usual. A lot of procrastinators like myself would rather buy in person than online.

Everyone knows tickets are widely available,

Yes, and everyone involved knew they would be, so it really did not make sense to give season ticket holders an exclusive period to buy tickets. They should have opened up sales to everyone as soon as they could. Giving season ticket holders first dibs might have made some people think that all the good seats would be taken, so there's no point in buying the leftovers. Giving everyone an equal shot from the beginning might have created some urgency and driven more sales.

Sitting in 90 degree heat for 4 hours is no fun. I'll do it for the very few times I get a chance but I'm not blaming this fanbase for passing up this opportunity. You want a full stadium, play it at night. You want a full stadium, make it a bargain. None of the above was done, so they'll get what they get

Like I also said yesterday: If they're not fiscally responsible enough to insure their investment, shame on them.

P.S. I still don't know how to post a quote. Go Tigers.

Agreed. I just hope LSU has the personnel and resources available to handle a large walk-up crowd at the ticket office.

God forbid USCe have a philosophy that they'd rather have 45k at regular prices than 90k drunk coonasses at half price
