You're too good to reply to him. He's still in high school.

e really have no way to estimate the quality of this crowd as it's such a rare occurrence. I would love to be there, but I made plans prior. I'm sure that's a big reason why tickets aren't selling. It isn't a lack of desire to attend, it's the fact that most LSU fans make plans months in advance around football season for the few weekends when there isn't a home game.

fricking this. It isn't hard to figure out.

Fournette should be hired as AD.

If he had been the one to make the announcement and asked fans to come to the game, we would have had a sellout.

You know, that actually wouldn't have been a bad idea (well, except for the hiring him as AD part; he has enough on his plate with football, school and being there for his family). I don't think there's anything LSU fans wouldn't do for Leonard Fournette.

Louisiana cares more about hunting than football.

Should have made the decision last weekend. Probably cost them 10k - 20k tickets easy.

I live in NJ and could have made plans to come down for the weekend. Would have loved to come down for the easy tickets.

Yeah, you right. Should be perfect weather to attend. Not to hot and not to cold.

40k + 7k students right?

No, mate.

It's funny how they complain year after year of not having enough student tickets, but this game they could finally pack every single student enrolled but they'll still not go.

Hey Joe I am here and bought my 3 tickets. I think it is great you thanked me for doing this. BTW, did you pay for your ticket?

What about the 1,000's of fans who purchased tickets who planned on going to South Carolina? Are those tickets honored for tomorrow? He knows these answers so that's a dumb statement on his part.

I been having season tix for 16 years , I tailgate every week there's a game .....from the first year until now I'm about a half mile further from the stadium , I don't like it but I make due ....

As far as Syracuse , I don't have to ask their fans ,,,, I was there ..

What kind of cookie would you like?

You're making my point for me. You're a great fan and good on you for making do like you have, but not everybody is fortunate enough to afford the price increases or keep up with the obstacles that come along with attending games these days. Yes, some fans suck and want everything perfect, but we still have a lot of great fans.

40k+ is actually a pretty good number, all things considered.
Remember, this wasn't just an away game, it was scheduled for 11 am local time. What's that mean? It means you had time to make plans to do other stuff, stuff that could be starting at or around 4 pm, and you'd still be able to watch the game.

So in the middle of the week, you get a home game instead, scheduled smack in the middle of the day. Any plans earlier than 6, and you're pushing your luck if you catch the entire game on TV.

Alleva's comments are asinine and insulting. A ton of people invest a lot of time and money supporting the Tigers, but we do have other things going on in our lives too. I'm sorry he can't understand that not everyone will scrap their plans, and spend a couple hundred extra on top of that, at a day's notice. Some of us have wives and kids, and this was one of the days designated as "family time".
