Took the words right out of my mouth. Ugh, the week to week mentality here is schizophrenic.

absolutely!!!Ford if played the entire game would gain 200 yds. He has 5 carries a game for 50 yds. or so. Give him the ball.

Like I said a month or two ago, it is great to have so many backs that are awesome that as many a 4 or 5 or considered the best by the fanbase in very even percentages.

But back to the rant! How can anyone say Ford hasn't lived up to expectations. He usually leads the team in ypc! He had trouble his first year running tough but has since learned to run between the tackles and get tough yardage. Doesn't do it on sweeps but that is a different deal altogether.

I think Hill is the best and I still love seeing Ware get yardage he has no right to ever get.

Hilliard does very good except for one thing lately and that is lower his shoulder and run into the defender when tough yardage situations exist. No excuse for him not to get the TD and that wasn't the only run where he ran wimpy.

many of us speculated that. while plausible, no one knows at this point. It is a guessing game. I agree with the guess.

No back can really be considered the 'best' imho. At this time I think Ware is the most NFL ready complete package. Hilliard is a bruiser, but did look a little tentative against USC, not sure why though. Maybe just me. Ford hits the edge like there is no tomorrow. If not for the injury, Blue reminds me a lot of Harvey Williams, in looks and running style, and Hill is a cross between Blue and Hilliard. BTW, someone said they thought Hill is faster than Blue. Don't think so, Blue hits another gear when he breaks clean. Fricking explosive.

As for who plays, Miles has already said he plays who has the 'hot hand'. As long as it works (and it does for sure) and the guys are behind each other, keep on keeping on. I feel for A&M Saturday.

Cheers!!

If I had to rank them out of 100 with 100 being the best:

Ware: 93
Hill: 89
Hilliard: 86
Ford: 85
Blue: 84

Basically Ware is the best all around RB (Best catching, bruises better than Hill, is a better back in the SEC all around than the others)

Hill is the most explosive out of the rest but don't sleep on hilliard.

ford/blue are interchangeable and aren't bad backs at all.

With the exception of perhaps Ford each back has had a breakout game. However neither back has been able to consistently establish dominance.

I don't know if this is due to Miles simply going with the hot hand, or using the style of a particular back to exploit the other teams' weaknesses.

He does have the hot hand now so I would continue to feed him the ball.

As I started a post recently about not wanting to "anoint" someone to superstar status before they prove it, here goes:

We DO have a stable of very good RBs. And, yes, they will all step up at one time or another to shine. With that being said, Jeremy Hill looks to me to have the "package". Shiftiness, speed, size, and power that none of the other backs posses. BUT, let's wait a few weeks and see just how special he is...

They're all studs and all have a unique running style.

It's hard to pick out one that is the "best" RB.

Hilliard who is a big guy but is really fast for his size.

Ware, just a bruiser. He's runs a lot like Jacob Hester.

Ford, really fast. Especially getting to the edge and turning the corner.

Hill and Blue both run very similar, to me. Great vision, good at finding lanes, great speed. Hill looks a little bigger than Blue.

I'm so glad we have this huge stable of RBs.

Leonard Fournette is LSU's best back. I thought that before the season and I feel pretty confident about it now. I know I will get haters but it is fact.

Blue was the undisputed starter until he got hurt and did a lot of damage when he had the ball.

Until some other RB has a great day—Ford, Ware, Hilliard, whoever. Then that guy will be LSU's best RB. The tittle changes hands just about weekly.

But wait.... About game 8 a year ago somebody said Kenny Hilliard was the best LSU ever had????

After the 2010 Cotton Bowl. Spencer Ware was and after the UW game this year Blue was?

Over the spring and summer some folks suggest Blue would get more pt and help the team at linebacker?

Wow....I hope our coaches aren't so fickle....lol

nah

The best LSU RB is definitely 8th grader Dylan Moses and that is FACT!

If you disagree with me then you are blind and have your head in the sand. Keep drinking the kool-aid.
