It was the right call at second base. Plus it was more of a base running blunder.

With your attitude why even get on the bus? THREE OF THOSE for are still playing? Of course Omaha is more important, you fool. But you can do both. You think JJ's half arse approach is better than those three other coaches?

He’s the Lincoln Riley of college baseball.

Good offense but soft and not much to offer on the other side of the ball.

He’s gonna be a top 8 seed in part because of the heritage of LSU baseball and Alex Box stadium.

#1 Transfer class
#1 Incoming freshman class
Ranked #1 for 12 consecutive weeks to start the season.
#1 & #2 draft picks on the same field.
Locked up a top 8 seed before the regular season was over.

That coaching job?

Dumb post. Mike Martin, winningest coach in NCAA baseball never won a CWS championship. According to your twisted logic, he is not a Championship caliber coach.

To get quality reps in a tournament setting with lots of high leverage situations. See how your guys do. Like I explained. We've already got a top 8 locked up and have nothing to gain in Hoover. Keep up.

Solid observation. You think its just because they wanted it more? If thats the case, why did DVH pull smith in the 3rd yesterday while he was mowing us the frick down? Because he plays it the same way. Hes got a top 8 locked up too. Hes trying to get all of his guys meaningful reps.

Of course Omaha is more important, you fool.

How you gonna agree with me, then call me a fool? Idiot.

But you can do both.

Sure can. Doesnt change my point.

It was the same approach the rest have taken to this point. I already mentioned one example. And to add to that example, JJ actually left his starter in longer than DVH left his in.

Our pitching staff is pretty thin this year.
To be completely honest, most years we probably should play hard in Hoover.
This is not the year for that. You need Skenes and Floyd to be at their best from here on out until the end.

Tournaments like this are great for position players, but it taxes your pitching staff.

Uh, regionals and supers are far more important. Let’s not act like we know more than he does before any of those games are played.

Yet to be determined. You can’t really gauge anything yet because it’s such a small sample size. Jay didn’t push Skenes and Floyd like he would have in a regional or super. I will say this though, we had a lot of fans in Hoover expecting a much better performance. We won’t go far hitting .150 with RISP.

No, he said most years LSU and JJ should take it seriously but with our pitching this year its different.

You said it's meaningless and a good thing to lose early and be eliminated.
