Love him or hate him, van horn is a great coach. He has the right attitude, this tourney is a good opportunity to get some guys some work, especially if you have your national seed locked up

The fact that we have doubts is on the coaching staff.

He has potential but like anybody that wants to be great and sustain success he will have to adapt his coaching style.

After seeing your posts on Saints Talk, I sometimes wonder if you're Sir Winston's alter

I wish our coach took more interest in Hoover. You can do both, Hoover and Omaha. True story.

Top 5 the entire season

Ranked number 1 for 12 consecutive weeks …. Without Taylor, Shores, Edward’s and Noot … Fire the coach …. These fans are marginally retarded

If we make it to Omaha, will you retract this? Or is championship or bust?

No we are Omaha talent. Just think we are poorly coached for our talent level. Very few times where I felt coaching win us a game. We can’t bunt. We strike out at most opportune times. We are situationally so shitty lots of times. We don’t excel at base running or any facet of game other than Uber talented group.

Maybe holding Skenes and Floyd under 90 pitches was the best thing to set up the feast of the season.

Maybe letting some of the bullpen arms get in some situations will pay off.

Maybe we needed to see Jones and Kling again against some good arms without much risk.

What does one have to accomplish to be a championship level coach? Make it to the CWS? Win the CWS?

I for one hate when he calls the strike out play.

LSU fans would want Van Horn fired if he had the same career here as he has had at Arkansas.

And save me “but it’s Arkansas” they spend just as much money in their program as LSU does, have just as good facilities for players, a better stadium atmosphere than LSU and talent has never been an issue there.
