re: Big ups to the bullpen - OGhunter777
Godfrey reminds me of Joba Chamberlin when he was throwing bullets while being the set-up man for Mariano Rivero down in New York! I like it! To me, his stuff looks much better coming out of the pen, rather than starting!...

Fished bayou black this weekend. Orange Grove and 70 Mile Canal areas. Didn't fair very well. Water was beautiful on the 70 mile side. Not so great in orange grove. Very windy, only caught a few bass and no sacalait. Anyone else have any luck?...

re: Duck Season in Review - OGhunter777
From what I understand, if you kill one, you will know the difference due to the size of them. Much larger than a lesser scaup. More comparable to a redhead than a scaup with regards to size. I wouldn't know though, because I've only killed the lesser, at least I think....

re: Duck Season in Review - OGhunter777
My location is Southeast LA. Bayou Black area in Terrebonne Parish, to be specific. Oleballcoach - 4 cinnamon teal! Wow, that is great! Also, the greater scaup - I've never killed one. Lots of lesser, though. Great season to you! ...

It was an awesome season. Majority of birds killed were ringnecks (293) with 12 other species of birds accounting fo...

re: what are the ducks doing around Venice? - OGhunter777
thinking about this: I work for a marine transportation company. We have vessels that work out of Venice. Had some crew members at the office last week for a Christmas gathering. Asked them if they've been seeing ducks - they laughed, and said that duck hunters are crazy. Said running the Baptiste, ...

re: How has your duck season been so far? - OGhunter777
Great. Hunted 14 times this year and killed limits on each hunt. Ranging from 2-4 ppl on each of those hunts. Mainly ringnecks and bwt with grays and canvasbacks taken regularly also. I'm in Terrebonne parish. ...
