Well, I'm confident we can compete for it every year, but I have never had the expectations I have for the team I have now before this season (even last year).

Last year I thought we would lose to bama on the 5th and that's it. I had high hopes for our young talent.

I really felt after 09, last year would be it. The qbs would be srs and chavis would have his d fully installed. Schedule was strong enough to lose 1 game snd still make it if we were sec champs. Oh and the game was in Nola.
Now this is the first year i expect to win every game. Not winning a title would be a failure. You need a lil luck sometimes, we def didnt have that last season. That team had to overcome a lot of distractions.

You're right Rummy, I should expect to go 10-2 with a Cotton Bowl loss to Oklahoma St.

I actually feel like I had more optimism going into last season.. Not a swipe at TM7 but a team can't just lose their top two cover corners (Ron Brooks and Mo Claiborne) and expect a couple freshman to step up and help against an SEC schedule.. Of course I hope I am pleasantly surprised and
