So he plays Fresh over Seniors? When did this start? Trindon over Rus in the bowl game comes fresh to my mind.

This not playing freshmen thing is stupid. What people really mean is, "Shep should have gotten more touches." or "Scott should played in the 2nd half against Kentucky." Shep actually got more touches than Trindon did this year.

I think he sucks, but he's better than Lane Kiffin.

I thought about this yesterday when the USC fans were rejoicing over Kiffin. I'm thinking are you nuts? Les Miles needs to be shown the door at LSU, but there is no way in hell I'd trade him for Kiffin. That's how bad kiffin is.

Lee, are you fricking retarded?

No, actually, he's asking a very good question. Does Les know how to recruit? One would think, if he did, we'd have a quarterback. Or an offensive line. Or a defensive line. Or something that could help us finish above .500 in the SEC over a two-year period.

Can you specifically name games where Miles outsmarted the other coach? Not where we clearly had more talent, but where the talent was even or the other team had more and LSU won because of Miles in-game coaching.

Choctaw, I always pegged you as a Miles supporter. It wasn't until this post that I realized you were just being sarcastic. Congrats. You really had me going there.

Shep 50 touches, Trindon 30. So yes, Shep got more touches on offense.

I will preface the comment below by saying I am 69 years old, I am not a coach, have never coached a football team not even at the Pee Wee level so you have every right to fire away.

Football is not as complicated as many seem to think. So often we talk about teams being out coached when the more accurate explanation would be about teams being out executed. I had a friend that played at a small college (Pacific Lutheran in the early 80's) under a very good and successful coach.. He told all his players that every team they played would be "bigger than us", "stronger than us", and "faster than us", but "they would not execute better than us". And he proved that to be true with wins.

The money is really the deal-breaker for me. I could live with a season like this year if I thought I was getting my money's worth. Les is waaaay overpaid.

Offense yes. But Playing Trindon on special teams was Miles way to get him more touches. Shep should have been back there with him.

I think we all forget, some of his ridiculous coaching decisions won us a national championship - if he didn't GO FOR IT in the SC, Auburn and Florida games, we'd never have had the opportunity. The guy doesn't play by the Saban rulebook, for better or worse... I'd like to hope he learned something this season, we all better hope so because he's back and we better get behind him and the rest of the team

Let me guess...LSU was waaaayyyyyy more talented than any of those 3 teams.

If Miles were to play the Colts and somehow win some of you retards would still say it was because LSU had more talent.
