and no offense.

One bad offensive season does not a trend make. Can't agree with that one. Will probably be corrected sooner than later.

Lee isn't retarded. He's one big pile of Miles-hatin stuff. Lee never passes up an oppurtunity to bash Les. How tiresome must THAT get/

It's just as easy to call a god damned timeout to keep 20 crucial seconds from running off the clock as it is to SAY you need to call one. The ridiculous clock mismanagement issues that have CONTINUOUSLY plagued LSU under Les Miles are inexcusable and are COSTING US GAMES. The guy is a fricking moron.[/quote]

That friggin steed is so beaten a buzzard wouldn't light on it.
I mean, crap, how many more ways can people like Lee and the other Negalesses come up with to cut Miles down?
Do they ever get tired, or does it somehow arouse them and they get their rocks off thinking about Les??
Truly sad that people are so fixated on this.
I come back a few times a week to check and it just gets worse. Might take the site off my favorites it is so disheartening.

....I think as human beings, we want black or white answers to every question.

A coach is either horrible or the greatest coach ever.

Most coaches fit in between.

There are things that Coach Miles does very well. He is an oustanding recruiter and continues to recruit well year after year in spite of low quality recruits in the state of Louisiana.

Up until this year, he had been an outstanding bowl coach.

However, there have been performance issues and game time management issues.

I think Coach Miles is a good coach. He still have winning records.

But, Miles is being paid 3.7 million dollars. That is the salary of a great coach.

Miles will have to prove in 2010 that he is worthy of that salary. He has not proven this in the last two years.

In all honesty Mac Brown is not really a hands on/ game day coach either. He lets his assistants and coordinators coach. He acts as CEO.

Perhaps Miles just needs to get the assistant coach making game clock decisions on the field, especially on offense.

Could this be Billy Gonzales's new role?

Miles is a bad SEC coach. He isn't a bad Sun Belt coach.

Not playing freshman and the hiring from within ruined Miles for me.

Can you specifically name games where Miles outsmarted the other coach? Not where we clearly had more talent, but where the talent was even or the other team had more and LSU won because of Miles in-game coaching.

App State where we were losing late.

I said where the talent level was equal. I don't think App State qualifies.
