Or maybe you should learn the definition of mediocrity. its the hardest division in the toughest conference in the country. 11-2 and finishing in the top 10 is far from mediocre

There will be streets in Louisiana named after Les Miles someday. People don't normally name streets after people they hate.

this guy reminds me of the rantard a few years ago that wanted LSU to win the west every other year and win the SEC every other time they won the west. on that exact schedule

jon4lsu? I think that was him.

I wouldn't laugh at anyone if I were you. You are basically embarrassing yourself in this thread.

Well LSU [even with Miles] was the BEST team in the country at the end of the season. I would have loved a rematch with FLA in the NC game. agree???

LSU was much more talented, i believe that much.

We might have been a litte more talented--especially at quarterback, but that Florida team was stacked. And the difference might have just been that they got us in the Swamp that year. But there's no reasonable argument that "LSU was much more talented."

Alabama had 4 1st rounders this year--including 2 of the top 6 picks--and returned a 5th year SR QB. Not to mention all the future All-Americans littered throughout the defense. Yet still lost 3 games. You must think Saban did a really shitty job last year, eh?

Bama lost how many players on Def, 9 or so? lack of defense was their downfall last year. they tried to overcompensate by throwing more, which didn't help either.

Can't go wrong with this. I don't see him going anywhere anyway. I can deal with 10-11 wins every year.

Have I made the claim that he was? No, but I guarantee that with the talent we had in '06 Saban would have won he championship that year.

While you are deifying Nick Saban just remember he lost a home game to a 2-3 Ron Zook coached team in 2003 where is offense was shut out with a much more talented team. He also pulled out games vs OM in 03 and Tenn in 09 because the other team missed FG's.

All coaches lose games, 2006 may have been LSU's best team, but it should show how much schedule matter, especially in CFB. We lost to 2 top 10 teams on the road, it happens, even to coaches like Saban.

You don't know me, obviously. I like him and know a lot of folks who do. I don't always agree with him, but I'm glad he didn't leave and he somehow pulls thing out of that hat.

Like I said earlier I would venture to say that approximately 75% of the LSU fanbase would welcome Saban back with welcome arms, myself included. Once he left he was a few minutes away from coming back in '07 until Herbstreit fricked that up for us and I don't have any doubts that Saban would have been contacted behind the scenes in '11 if Les would have left. It is well known that his wife loves it in Baton Rouge and Nicks heart is here. Hell in '07 his wife was in BR looking at houses and Nick was in a damn hanger at BTR talking to Skip.

You are apparently still in that "extremely gullible" stage of life.
