Is Les Miles the Most Hated Coach to Ever Win a Championship?

I honestly cannot think of anyone who is more hated than Les Miles that has won a championship. I am fairly young (23) so I obviously don't have an extensive recollection of past winners much beyond 1998. Along those same lines is there another program in the country that hates their coach as much as LSU?

LSU fans don't hate Les. Hang around on this site less and you will get a different perspective.

I doubt many hate him (lsu fans)...he's done nothing but won while at lsu...
that said, he does some off the wall stuff and he's had enough talent to win more than 1...that could piss some off knowing lsu will most likely always be in the championship hunt. Things do go in cycles, so the 90's is also possible...its been a while

Les is one of my favorite people. I hope he has a long career at LSU.

In 2007, I nearly cried when he got choked-up about his damn-strong team and said "no thanks" to his alma mater.
In 2009 (and a couple times since) he freaked me out with some of his decisions.
In 2010 I was thrilled he, once again, said "no thanks" to his alma mater.
I know some folks who don't like him... but I think we are damn lucky to have him!!

Yeah, kicking his arse. We won the last game so....."keeps kicking his arse" is appropriate. I know the point you're trying to make, but by most people's standards you could sware Les doesn't even have a win against the Lord of the Rednecks.
