Both in CWS final would make for a hell of a party and show the rest of the country who is doing things right

I was born and raised a fighting tiger, but I have a degree from USL and one from ULL. I pull for both schools but if they square off, tigers first!

I sure hope ull softball makes it to Oklahoma. I'd love to see them beat Bama. God I hate them. Yesterday bamafan asked me about the baseball tourney. Then proceeded to tell me why baseball sucked and softball and gymnastics were way better. Jesus.

I live in Louisiana so I pull for both schools. I went to USL. You just have to put things in perspective, LSU is the big time school in the big time conference and ULL is a mid major that is doing well in all sports right now. There is room for both to have success usually on different levels.

went fine in 2000. ULL made a nice little run and LSU won it all

"Competition breeds success"?? LSU plays in the toughest conference in the country & the national polls speak to the truth of that fact.Year in, year out. So as far as competition goes, we get that every wkend. As for success: our resume in any context imaginable speaks for itself.

Don't get it twisted, nobody gives a shite about ULL other than those in Lafayette. You're just a bathroom rest stop on my way to LSU from Houston.

You're trying a little too hard here

As a Tulane fan, I am pulling for the Cajuns to win the NC. LSU has won the thing so many times....

USL brought over 25K to the NOLA Bowl. Not bad.

Why, if LSU is in Omaha, would I root for anyone else?

Also I'm not from Louisiana and don't give a shite about ULL.

NOLA Bowl? Don't you mean Sugar Bowl? If USL can call themselves "Louisiana" they can call a bottom-feeder ESPN-believe scrimmage the Sugar Bowl.
