@AP83

I'm always happy when LSU and ULL are both playing well. I realize The Cajuns don't have the football program to compete for a Natty but I enjoy watching their bowl games. The best world for me is ULL winning a bowl and possibly shocking people and getting to a major bowl, LSU stomping Bama on the way to an SEC/National Title, and the Saints drilling the Sea chickens in the NFCCG, on their way to a second Super Bowl. That would be sports utopia for me. Unfortunately they both can't win the National Title this year in baseball.

Is it pretty much decided that if both make it out of tier regionals they'll meet in the supers? I haven't kept up with all that.

I've come across more ugly ULL fans than LSU fans.

Same side of the bracket, no.

Different sides of the bracket, yes....just like last time.

I posted this in an earlier thread. This would be a massive party. With the limited tickets LSU fans could get, I would expect a major tailgate in the Cajun Field parking lot. Could be a wild scene if a couple of thousand Tiger Fans showed up.

i would think it would be one big party. I know LSU fans would invite the ULL fans that come to their tailgates and other functions

Sucks that would have been cool to see both in Omaha. Either way sports in La are better when somebody other than just LSU is good. Hopefully we can keep our program going in an upward direction. Could provide for some fun in state games.

Yeah there are a lot of ULL Fans who like LSU too but also too many diehards who despise LSU. A guy I work with is like that. I think their would be both groups in Omaha.

As long as their fans know their place, Eauxmaha is LSU country. I just hope their team doesn't peroxide their heads again & start another fight.

see that thought alone I think can bring the 2 fan bases together. Let's show Omaha Louisiana culture at its finest. It could be the best Omaha has seen in a long time.

I harbor no ill will towards USL. I would most likely wish them well as long as they aren't playing LSU.

Dont they need to be relevant more than once every 5-6 years for this to be a rivalry?

Is it really necessary to ruin a perfectly civil thread by putting down ULL? Unprovoked I might add.
