How about all of you "quitters" stand on the other side of the fence so we can clearly identify you? If I'm alone on this side...then so be it. I'm doubting that most of you ever actually go to games. If you do, you probably leave at halftime anyway. It sounds like we don't really need to add capacity to our statium. We should lower the cost of tickets and find some fans that would really appreciate the opportunity to see the Tigers play.

Re: fans giving up......I don't think anyone is giving up, but rather stating the obvious. We have O problems, so no amount of fanaticism will change that. Not acknowleding our problem and believing positive thinking will fix it, reminds me of the kid at the end of Animal House that keeps yelling at the homecoming parade "all is well, all is well." We'll, it ain't.

EVERYBODY on this site is a fan. Some people don't understand the game of football- philosophy, focus, strategy.

The ones who do are realistic and often labeled negatigers.

Horse shite. Everyone wants the team to succeed. That doesnt negate the fact that to do that, this young team has to grow up very quickly.

This is true except why are you advertising yourself as a Longhorn fan?

Yeah thats cool bro, its not 1991 there is expectations now, especially with the amount of money pumped into LSU football from everyone around the country and having the best EVERYTHING at your disposal we do expect perfection, if you wana settle for 8-4 go be a highschool coach or hit up the big 10
Until then..watch your lip, boy.

There is a mix up here.

I for one am considered a nega-tiger for being critical and dissenting.

I can't stand the thought police on this board.

But the other extreme side of the sunshine pumper crowd are the suicidal chatters willing to concede an 8-4 season after 1-loss.

This team still has a chance and CAN find its identity. There are plenty of colorful personalities and talent on this team to roll.

If you really want to be a "Tiger Fan", keep your negative bs to yourselves and work on your own behavior "as a fan". I've had season tickets since 1991 and I know what it's like to "hope" for an 8-4 season.

I don't think you get it, unfortunately. LSU has a wealth of talent, and some feel it's being lost, namely on the offensive side of the ball. If you're satisfied with LSU's offense, scoring a whopping 16 points against SEC teams thus far, one of those with arguably a bad defense, I'm not sure what anyone can tell you or show you to see it.

Do you fools think before you post? Do you think your posts do anything to help the situation? It makes the situation worse, it hurts LSU's recruiting efforts,

No, it does not. What will hurt the efforts is the lack of improvement on offense since 2008.

Most posts I have seen are qualified with IF we continue to play like we have this is a 3-4 loss team.

I am fan an alum ticket holder and TAF guy I take a backseat to no one in my support for LSU and don't need you are anyone else to lecture me.

I hope we get better and will be cheering for us to win every game BUT only a blind arse fool cannot see that we have had problems on O despite who the OC is what the personnel is, scheme, game planning, halftime adjustments. Play calling for a long time around here.

We have been winning with great D and great special teams and an O that did not turn the ball over.

This year the special teams especially the return game has not been great and we have committed too many turnovers in addition we have had trouble protecting the passer and catching the ball. Teams are stacking the box daring us to throw and to this point in the season we have not been able to.

The truth is unless we improve dramatically on the OL and at WR or get a whole bunch of Def or ST scores this team will have trouble scoring points and winning games. That's a fact.

And pointing it out makes one a realist not a bad fan.

A: no one has given up, I'll be there next weekend screaming with passion in full support

B: nothing is more hypocritical than a thread bashing threads that are bashing. If you want to reduce negativity say something positive.

These are all valid points and you issue a good warning:

True.

Yet you aren't conceding an 8-4 season or calling for everyone to be fired.

I'm pretty sure the point of contention for many are the suicidal fans that have already hit the panic button.

Think the Majority are just very frustrated like me (a season ticket holder) over the lackadaisical approach and play of the offensive mindset since late last season and reality of the competition coming up; the Majority are not giving up, we are still going to support this team and hoping it can turn around but has to start this week with the coaching staff (highly compansated) to wake the &**# up and get us prepared to beat the Gcocks. Also, I think the players should be concentrating on the films, game plans, etc. and not reading TD or tweeting every minute!

I like your B post but this isn't correct. There are plenty of "fans" here that are ready to set everything on fire and run for the hills.

Good post. Is there any solid evidence other than assumptions that players really read the TD?
