Many have a problem with the outright concession of the entire season after 1 loss. There's still a chance we can get this right and make it all the way. That's it.

OK, don't lump me in with these looosers....I for one think we'll beat Ole Miss!

If it happens, it happens....I don't put very good odds that the ship will be saved based on the evidence I have seen the past few weeks.

I think 2-3 more losses in the final 6 games is pretty realistic based on the evidence at hand. That isn't jumping ship, that's being realistic.

SL Tiger- Your not the only one that suffered through those seasons. Don't read the f****** post if you don't like it. You sound like a damn Iowa fan. Settle for mentality. Get your damn head out of the sand and pay attention. You are as bad as the arse wipes alabammer fans last season jumping from comparing a quality win to quality of loss. Here is a prediction to add to your sickening feeling- we will be skulled dragged come saturday. Lets see how you feel then

The players are more worried about heading to bogies than winning at this point. Always we're caught up in all that shite. 7 days before the natty they are posted up there getting hammered. This team needs a reality check. I thought that Towson would have provided that to them by now...guess not.

Anyone looking at this team objectively I think can see a relative disaster coming.

Not sure about this. There is still a chance to find an identity. Start by just reducing the damn penalties and turnovers.

Look at the 2010 team. Often they played like this and still made it through at 11-2.

Remember, LSU will be in EVERY game this year because of the defense.

Season is half over, and the team seems to be getting worse. You are technically right, but the odds aren't very good.

I shouldn't attack you as I'm sure that you are as passionate about LSU and I am. I appoligize for that. I was fing sick to my stomache last night and my wife doesn't get that. In fact, no one does. The problem is...when we start calling for our coaches head we both know the painful road that we will go down if that were to happen. I'm not saying that you are...but a bunch of our fellow fans are. Neither of us wants that. This program will have to go down to a level that would be very hard to recover from if that were to happen. I hope to God that our current hard head can find it within himself to do what he can to fix the problem this year. Next year...I hope he makes some tough decisions about the direction of this team from a coaching perspective. We can be very good offesive AND defensive team. I don't know if he gets that.

That's just it...Miles could make his job so much easier by hiring a top notch OC, and let him handle his duties like Chavis handles the D. Miles is an excellent recruiter and a judge of talent...he just needs to back off the nuts and bolts of things. IMO

you shouldn't attack anyone on here, who the hell appointed you as judge and jury of the LSU fan base or rant posters?

perhaps you should petition Chicken to create an psych board and you can debate what it means to be good fan and poster there but this is an LSU football board and none of us not one need nor respect your opinion about the rest of us and our fandom

you have not added a single cogent thought, idea or opinion about this LSU team or program in this entire thread

At the end of the USCe game last night, reporter asked him a question about defense, and his response was (paraphrasing) - "well that's the defensive staff putting it together" and left it at that. I read that as "I don't know, that's why I hired a def coord to get it done".

That's the attitude that Les needs to take with the offense. Hire a guy, get the frick out of the way unless it's not working, and then get in the way and make changes.

We need to remember that forums like this one are more bout emotion than any serious thought process.

We loss and therefore we have a want to event our disappointment or express our 20/20 hindsight vision of what we should have done and how that would have prevented the disappointing L.

the ridiculous "negative" predictions by some of you clowns.

Some can't hold their water and have to release it on to the backs of players/coaches. It's just how they react to failure. Players can't/shouldn't react that way cause they have to start getting ready for the next game. We fans can stew in failure forever if we have that want and some sure do.

Bring on those Game Cocks...they going down!!

Would it be a positive if we get 43 yards on the ground next week? I think we can do it. The Empty Hat could then sell it as an offensive turnaround much like the economy - right?

How's this...losing a top ~2 LT in college football has had a much bigger effect on us than anyone would have expected. Losing THE top playmaker in our secondary for the year has had a much bigger effect than we thought it would. The defensive backfield obviously fed off of his intensity. I don't see that same fire anymore. Injuries are f-ing killing us right now and we don't have an effective "leader" to get the most out of this team. That said...it's week 7 and I'm going to continue to support this team. Our defense will keep us in any game...but our offense has got to step up and help them. Last week's game in over. If the players believe that they are going to lose 2-4 more games (as most of you do) then we are in f-ing trouble.

And I've been watching the game of football since you were pooping yellow. 8-4. Starts this weekend when USCe curb stomps LSU. I've been a fan for over 40 years, but I'm not going to try and pump sunshine up someone's arse either. It's just not our year. Deal with it.

Great...you keep predicting that if it makes you feel better. Will you agree to stick your head up your arse and STFU if we beat USCe this weekend? You might convince some others to follow your loser mentality but I won't.

BTW...if you are so sure about our loss this weekend...put your money where your mouth is. You will be getting points from any service. What does that tell you??
