How bout this...we've only played half of a season. Our coach (whether you like him or not) isn't going anywhere. Our players need our support so lets support this team and these coaches.

BTW...my point about being a TAF member since 91 was to put this into some perspective. Some of you were shitting your pants back then. Also, I've coached Youth Football for the past 5 years so I do have some idea of what I'm talking about. I've never accepted "quitting" in the middle of a season. I never will. Quitter's ruin a team! I would hate to think that any of our players share the attitude of some of you pussies.

How about all of you "quitters" stand on the other side of the fence so we can clearly identify you? If I'm alone on this side...then so be it. I'm doubting that most of you ever actually go to games. If you do, you probably leave at halftime anyway. It sounds like we don't really need to add capacity to our statium. We should lower the cost of tickets and find some fans that would really appreciate the opportunity to see the Tigers play.

So WHO put YOU in charge of judging people??? BTW I have an opinion just like you. I go to plenty of games. And YES I have left at halftime before. So that makes ME LESS OF A FAN????????? I critize this team for lack of focus and the Coaching is to blame for this. Do I still LOVE LSU??? YES I DO. But I am a fan that has something I guess YOU don't ITS CALLED REALITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, I will paaphrase then with "if that is the case" after "and not reading TD". Think it is well documented that they tweet frequently.

Our players on D gave up pretty quick last night after they kept watching the offense go three and out again and again and again.

You, sir, are the reason I come on this board. I need some guy to tell the rest of us what the definition of a fan is, b/c you bought season tickets.

You are Superfan!

We do.

You see support much differently than we do. Kind of like supporting the government no matter what laws they pass.

You can disagree with the leader, and still support the team. Supporting the players in this case may very well mean screaming loudly for some kind of change.

So who is the better fan?

You're probably a little slow so I'll explain that. I bought season tickets after I graduated...and our football team wasn't consistently good. I can tell you that NO ONE was thinking about NC's and it wasn't difficult to get the season tickets. Does that make me a better fan...NO. Do I like the current situation with our team...NO. I also take things into perspective and don't jump on and off of the bandwaggon based on any one game or season.

What bandwagon are you talking about? People are still here discussing LSU football.

Cus even though I was born here I grew up in Texas. One of the proudest moments of my life was watching LSU dismantle Jason White and Oklahoma in 03. I am such a fan that instead of going back to school in Texas, I chose to move here and pay full tuition, no scholarships and no grants even though I am entitled to both. Like much of the team I may be a Texan but I am also a Tiger.

P.S. Trying to attack where I come from doesnt invalidate what I said.

Yep...and telling everyone who will listen that we are headed for an 0-4 stretch. Keep backing them...I'm sure it will lead to immediate changes!

Ohhh....you are only true fan if you think LSU should go undefeated the rest of the year.

In the real world, those folks are called Bama fans and they are universally hated by our fanbase for that reason, being so delusional.

I read everything. And what did I take out of context in this quote? I didn't even reference anything. I'm mocking your and the OP's holier-than-thou attitude, not quoting anything. So FAIL harder.

Re our D giving up after watching The O go 3 and out repeatedly. I didn't interpret this as giving up. I think they were worn out from staying on the field so long. Think about it, they held the #10 team to 0 pts in the first half and only two scores for the entire game. How many times did we convert on 3rd down...one or two.
