Last years team was not good. Most people that follow a team should have known what the team was going to be. Coaching faults, the oline was horrible at the beginning of the year, they chose to start the wrong mlb, and yes the qb spot was terrible. (Both of them).

I've been watching sec for 30 years and can't remember both Mississippi schools being that strong, along with both Alabama teams being very strong at the same time. I do think the normal balance will right itself this season, but this Tiger team better come to play, they are one year away if we can replace KB at mlb.

How original... Another unprovoked poster feeling the need to start a thread defending Miles.

. ROFLMAO! its almost clinical at this point, psychological? Self reinforcement syndrome?

Judgment like this is what will keep you firmly entrenched in middle management for the rest of your life.

What 3-5 are you talking about? Last year was 4-4.

Gary Patterson is better. Look what he did with Boykin in his first year as a starting QB- The best Run/pass mix in Div 1

"Mettwnberger was developed under Bobo and Richt."

LOL. CLM can't win with you guys. Now he's winning with Richt
s players instead of Saban! This is pathetic.

I agree

OP you have huge balls to post this on the Rant

Baton Rouge loves to hate Les - it takes nothing less than 13-0 to make 40% of the fan base happy !

I love CLM supporters using the same hyperbole they criticize Miles haters for.

You can support Les and you should but damn, best coach in the country in not even close. The guy can be argued to have done Les with more during his time at LSU. He has severely under performed the most important position on the field and needed a guy kicked off a team for sexual assault to save his arse. Qbs that he has recruited have under performed to say the least. I love goofy less but the NFL talent that he has produced should have produced more wins and more championship opportunities. Not to mention what happened in his last championship appearance. Oh and a modern miracle to win his first

what we need is miles as a figurehead HC and the rank as decision makers. these ranters can have the offense they want and can call plays and time outs on game day. with todays technology it would be possible; select any number of ranters to participate and theiy have to vote (quickly on play calling, etc) and instantaneously the result is tabulated and a guy on the sidelines signals the play.

It's 6-2 5-3 4-4. Still not a great trend but don't sell LSU short

But you cannot deny his success.

The "unhappy bout something crowd" do it all the time! Really, I have to smile when "LSU fans" piss and moan bout Miles continually. It's one thing to be critical of a certain move, starting player, or scheme, but doing that continually without also pointing out the man's unequaled success at LSU and success that has LSU functioning as a Top 3-5 football program overall for a decade demonstrates a low SEC/college football intelligence. imo

I am not going to say I would take Miles over any other HC, but I will say there is less than a handful who have proven to be more successful. He's a serious keeper in my book.
