Most WRs would have been tackled at that point. JD did that stuff in high school. He has great vision and takes great angles when running. He'll move the chains and break one often.

I'm not talking about their tackling, I'm talking about right up to the point where he caught the ball. Then it went badly for them.
OK then. Yes, they did play it well before the catch. They had enough defenders (I believe 4) to stop him before the 1st down.

I thought I was disconnecting on something, so I held off on the gif parade.

Did you enjoy the delay of game on the 2nd half kickoff?

Put that in the "Only at LSU" file, right up next to the time where we kicked off to start both halves against A&M back in the Curley days.

And of course, the #1, having a punter flagged for taunting on a TD run.

That file has grown a lot since Les Miles became our coach.

The only thing I can say is that after an early bought with high blood pressure my Dad can now watch even the most screwed up game and laugh.

i'm betting he took that approach after Tenn 2010. now that i think of it, THAT has to be #1…Brad Wing is bumped.

My first thought was that it was because the team didn't come out of the tunnel until about 2 minutes was left on the halftime clock. That was maybe 5 minutes after Wisconsin. I was hoping that Miles was giving one of those legendary halftime speeches and he was just on a role. But when they threw the flag I thought "is Miles playing mind games with the other coach?"
Its like Miles is saying: get ready for something you have never seen before! BOOM delay of game on a kick off sucka!

I work with Diarse during the summer. One of the coolest guys you'll meet, great player!

He was not wide open on the 2 pt conversion. He had two guys blanketing him when the ball was thrown which is exactly what was needed. Cut inside, draw coverage, open up the flat for Quinn.

Thank you to that Wisconsin LB for his terrible tackling and essentially pushing Diarse, giving him extra momentum out of the spin.

Diarse wasn't out of his break yet when Jennings threw. Nice

Yea, Jennings got better as the game went on. I didn't Diarse was that big and powerful.

Whatever else can be said about Jennings, he has shown an ability to perform in the clutch.

Same can be said for Miles. I just wish Miles would let the team play more open earlier in games. I know the object is to win but enjoying it is important too.

Now that i'm rewatching that play in a calm state, I didn't realize he shook off like 5 Badgers.

This is where I am too. It's kind of awesome, really.

Thanks Les!
