Quinn made a nice one handed catch and was wide open on the two pt conversion. Him in the slit will help Diarse and Dural

We need Quinn on the field and his mind on the game. He can take care of that stuff after the game.

Had a guy open down the seam too.

I hadn't seen that until I watched the gif a half dozen times. The defender in the middle ran into the ref and lost his stride. The guy streaking down the middle had about a ten yard gap between himself and anyone else. It would have been uncontested pitch and catch to the end zone. Diarse's route required so much more work just to get the first down. Still it was a thing of beauty.

WATCHED IT SOME MORE. There was over the top coverage on the guy down the middle. QB made the right decision.

That 2 pt conversion gif doesn't start early enough in the play, but if you rewatch that play, we are lucky refs didn't throw a presnap flag. TQ running in motion turned up field before the snap. He quickly corrected himself when the snap hadn't occurred, but that should have been a 5yd illegal procedure penalty.

Noticed it right off. Could not tell if it was on purpose or not. I still can't believe no one even tried to cover him.

They were in straight man coverage which is exactly what you want them to be in for that play to work. If they are in zone thats a potential pick. See Bama vs A&M game a few years back.

But how many times with Miles as HC have we walked away saying, "How did we win that thing...???" Tennessee... Auburn... Even Bama in 2007 at Bama was pretty dang amazing... Troy State... And on and on and on... I looked at the post of Patrick Peterson taking selfie with Coach Miles and it hit me... What everyone says about the guy is true. The players love him. Look at that post... Miles loves PP7 and vice versa. There is this incredible mutual respect... And then it all makes sense. Miles may be unable to communicate with the English language but he's on your side and you know it. Let's face it. Football ain't exactly nuclear physics.

3rd and 21, down by 11, with 12:19 to go in the 4th, against a team that already had over 250 yards rushing at this point.
We kick the FG there, and still win. We scored the game winner with 9:40 left in the 4thQ. After that, we just let air out of the tires.

Its like Miles is saying: get ready for something you have never seen before! BOOM delay of game on a kick off sucka!

It makes Sean Payton's onside kick to start the second half of the SB look like child's play.

It's the old Chinese Bandit Fire Drill routine. Create such a cloud of confusion that even the other team starts getting confused. On the fake punt play, Miles was trying to time it so that the play would go for the 1st, but whistled dead when LSU was recognized for wanting a timeout. "First down? Think again, we called timeout!"
