re: Thailand reccomendations and info needed - lsugradman
I would like to see the topography of Phuket though so I am keeping that in play
If you want to see gorgeous landscapes and awesome beaches, Krabi has Phuket beat imo. Pic from Krabi area last year... ...

re: Thailand reccomendations and info needed - lsugradman
Ive heard great things about Chang Mai. Might want to spend a couple days there. I'm not a big fan of Bangkok personally. Thailand has some of the best beaches in the world, it would be a shame to go there and not at least hit up a beach for a day. A lot of people like Phuket but I prefer Krabi and ...

re: Thoughts on The Thin Red Line? - lsugradman
Man what a great remix. UNKLE is good stuff. Oh and agree with a lot of the sentiment here on TRL. I did not get it when I watched it in my younger years but since then I've developed much more appreciation for Malick's work but have never gone back and watched TRL. Need to do so soon....

re: To move or not to move: Would you return to Mandeville from Houston? UPDATED - lsugradman
As someone who has made this move (Houston to the North shore) in the past few years. Absolutely yes, do it. Closer to family, great area to raise a family, short commute, lower cost of living and within arms reach of NOLA to enjoy it when you so desire. Do it and don't look back....
