Where is the jackrabbit who stated Diarse had not impressed him and he didn't believe he would have any impact? Perfect example of why you should reserve judgement until these guys get their opportunity before throwing them on the scrapeheap.

Yeah I was sitting in 633 right above the play and was shocked but I swear to you I felt and told the folks around me just before that we will come back in this thing! Guy next to me was pouting so hard he didn't get back into it until this play

Diarse was a stud at Neville. Not ever gonna be the fastest or the flashiest, but is just a damn good football player....gonna have a great career as a tiger.

Miles. Coach Les Miles.

Say what you want, but our coach made this one of my best Gameday experiences ever....and I've been to over a dozen stadiums.

It's like Jimmy Graham dressed out in Early Doucets jersey for that play. Diarse is a monster.

Interesting that he threw this 11 yards, with the knowledge that Diarse would have to break at least one tackle to get the first down. It's impressive enough that he got the first down out of it. The throw for the first down also demanded he break a tackle. This will play hugely to LSU's advantage. His YAC will be phenomenal by the time he leaves.

He pretty much needed Wisconsin's #4 to knock one of his own players off of Diarse, so a bit of luck was involved.

Did you enjoy the delay of game on the 2nd half kickoff? I kid... but really, the team has some great play makers this year.

Quinn made a nice one handed catch and was wide open on the two pt conversion. Him in the slit will help Diarse and Dural get single coverage.
That being said, if Gordon stays in the game it's a tougher win. He was really good at finding openings when the original hole was closed. He's a terrific back.

Sitting here watching it, it seems like he read the safety, and when the safety moved to cover the seam route, he automatically threw to the wide out. THe D played it well, just Diarse made an excellent run out of it. Props to him.

I think they were probably thinking FG at that point…we were still 11 down and needed a FG anyway to have a chance to tie. 21 yards is a pretty low percentage proposition. Getting half of what we needed would have put us in position for a 42-44 yarder. Fortunately the kid made a fantastic play.

I'm not talking about their tackling, I'm talking about right up to the point where he caught the ball. Then it went badly for them.

Good point. Seriously. But my counterpoint would be, he still recruited a guy that boomed a kickoff for a touchback after that delay.

I know, it shouldn't have happened, but Coach Miles but himself in a position to overcome....Geaux Tigers
