I'd rather focus on "blending" in both of the upper decks to mirror each other as closely as possible.

LSU needs to focus on fan experience now more than ever, not putting more empty seats in the stadium. Bathrooms, concessions and walkways need to be renovated. Many areas within the stadium could be upgraded. At some point, the dorm rooms will need to be addressed. That is space being wasted.

I wonder why, when closing in the original south endzone, the architects decided on the two levels instead of making it all one smooth level from the field up like the north endzone. Anyone in the know, know why they did it like that?

For some reason, LSU has avoided roadwork whenever possible. So the south end zone addition...both of them...have been shoe-horned into the available space.

I know, it boggles the mind. But there it is.

Again, you've hit on the reason for the OP. I doubt any "blending" happens without some work on the north end zone.

Considering I'm one of the ones in the new addition I disagree with that statement being one of the 99.99%.

The south endzone still looks so atrocious from outside the stadium...

No it doesn't BUT I do wish they'd make better use of that large rectangular area of cement in SE corner.

The next major project in Tiger Stadium needs to be renovating all the old dorm rooms/teachers offices into upscale hotel suites. I cant believe LSU is leaving this market untapped.

I think a row or two of suites (like Lambeau's NEZ) is feasible and possible, but I don't think we'll ever see expansion of regular seating.

In fact, if they do decide to add more suites (because the demand is there), I'd prefer this method over removing regular seating and lowering capacity for them like a lot of stadiums are doing now.

A north endzone expansion will never be needed.

I agree. I love the TS experience but the trend, i think, will be downward in attendance as the in home game experience is just getting better and better. there's only so much that can be done to improve the live attendance experience. or maybe i'm just wrong and getting old. I hope i'm wrong. maybe more suites is the answer and that would be the only reason for a NEZ expansion, or remodeling

The stadium is large enough now.
An Expsndion to the north is not practical either,

Just don't let some company from Alabama win the bid. They half assed the South end zone expansion.

I've said this before and I'll say it again...

LSU will build a new stadium before the north end zone gets an upper deck expansion.

I think a flat open air platform would work for the beer garden
