He clearly was not. That's why he didn't play much. Quinn or Diarse could have grabbed the three spot, but both of them stunk it up. It looks like both have been passed by Chark.

He will play........ a lot......... for his blocking alone. You're acting like we're just oozing 5 stars out there.

Dupree and Dural are given. Chark is making noise and Diarse played more at the back end of the season. Tyron Johnson coming in. Donte Jackson could play a little slot. He's on the outside looking in.

Quinn will be fine. People seem to forget that OBJ had a case of the dropsies too at one point, he turned out ok.

The good thing is we are stacked at WR. Probably the best group of receivers I've ever seen at LSU at the same time.

Oozing 5* has absolutely nothing to do with it. I don't believe Quinn will get buried. But it's not a far fetched assumption that his role could decrease.

Plus he's the white guy.
I'm just saying what most others are thinking.
It's really shitty it works that way.
BEcause if it were reversed, people on here would probably jump on it like flies in stink.

finally someone that gets it. I really dont get the Quinn love. I dont get it at all. I think hes a fine player. but there is NO reason he should be playing over Diarse. I wont compare him to the incoming guys but Id lean towards rather having Tyron on the field than Quinn.

You guys are one of a kind.

Are you retarded? Nobody is blaming the QB play on the WRs, but you can still try to improve the WR situation despite having bad QB play.

better question.
Who stunk it up worse, TQ or hesiman finalist Amari Cooper?
Same game and everything.

I swear we have the dumbest fans this side of alabama.
Let Chark drop a ball or two and these same morons will be calling for the 14 yr old freshman from some highschool in florida.

So because the QB play was bad, nobody can make comments on improving the WR corp?

You are that guy that tries to be funny by criticizing our fanbase for having an opinion, then upvotes themselves

I'm going to assume you were asking a serious question then. TQ was worse in that game than Amari Cooper, and its not even close. And if Chark drops as many passes as TQ did then I will absolutely call for the next WR because we have a ton of talented WRs who should be able to catch the ball.

Outside of Dural and Dupre, its tough to predict how the rest of the WR depth chart shakes out and how much PT each guy will get. A lot of it will depend on the game plan, opponent, and in game situations.

Our 2 best WRs are Dural and Dupre. They will be the main 2, that much is clear. And with the spring Chark had and what all the coaches and other players are saying about him, hes got the inside track to the WR3 spot. When he comes in, Dupre would probably move inside to the slot. Its clear that they want to move Dupre all over the place and get a mismatch with him. And they really liked what they saw from him out of the slot during the spring.

That doesn't mean that guys like Quinn and Diarse won't see quality PT though. Because they all will. The good thing about our WR group is that they are versatile and bring diff things to the table. Dural and Chark and burners that can take the top off of any D and have elite speed. Dupre is a monster talent with elite size and jumping ability and is able to go up and make plays over DBs. Quinn and Diarse are inside WRs, but different skills. Quinn is that finesse slot WR that has very good quickness and speed and knows how to get open. Diarse is a physical WR that can go across the middle and out muscle guys and go get the ball.

And Tyron Johnson will see the field as well. Hes on a different level talent wise than all of our WRs not named Dupre and maybe Dural. Hes that talented. It's only a matter of time before he emerges as an impact player for us and pushes for that WR3 / WR4 spot.

They all will see the field though. Add in DeSean Smith ability to catch the ball as a TE and our elite running game, we should be very hard to matchup with and should be able to pick and choose where we want to attack.

They all better be ready when their # is called though. Because if they arent, there are 4+ guys that are just as talented breathing down their neck waiting for their opportunity.

I'm not trying to be funny at all.
I have to laugh and keep it comical b/c several of you here are quite possibly the dumbest of dumb.
Opinions are great, but at least have one that has some sort of releventcy.

There is a reason TQ started last year as a fresham.
The only other player that takes similiar critisizm as Quinn is Lacatour.
Want to guess what they have in common?

I'll tell you, Both started as true freshman.
Can your little agenda driven mind process how hard that is to do at a place like LSU?
And you idiots want them replaced.
With players that have never taken a college snap.

Yes, I am laughing and I will upvote my post beacuse it's fricking fact.
Have a great day.

He did, in an early season game, would be TD pass from BH6 when victory was already secured. It is easily forgotten because we won the game. He is a great kid and athlete, and to his credit he has continued to improve and made a big splash this spring.

The entire WR group needed to get better, and I think they have, thanks in large part to Coach Ball.
