Were you a fan when OBjr and Bradon Lafell played ball at LSU?

I do hope Chark sees the field more this year. His only target last year (that I remember) was a TD pass that bounced off his chest in the corner of the end zone in one of the cupcake games.

Heard he looks great, but game time will be a lot different than the spring game. Would love to see him returning punts (rumored last year).

Lacouture is a solid player, and I think everyone recognizes that.

No, I want Quinn replaced by Diarse because he did infinitely more in his time playing than Quinn did in his.

Yeah, I have been following LSU football for many many years. Both of them had spells where they sucked at catching. Lafell's play against Auburn where he essentially gave Auburn the football might be the worst play I have ever seen in my life by a WR. They both went on to have great careers at LSU, but you don't know that Quinn will be like them. I have seen our WRs play, and I think Diarse is much better than Quinn.

Diarse is so much better than Quinn. I never understood why Diarse got as few targets as he did last year.

The only other player that takes similiar critisizm as Quinn is Lacatour.

Of course you're gonna bring the race card into this

Personally, I think Lacouture is poised to have a good season after getting a full season of starting experience.

For those who don't get the love for Trey Quinn, obviously you have only watched the 2 passes everyone refers to against Alabama.
I don't get the trash talk over 2 "drops" and making remarks about him being white!
Simple fact some don't want him to do good because he is white.
Also, some may not want Quinn to do good because he stood out against your kid or favorite player.
Trey Quinn can handle the haters! He has proven himself many times before and he will continue! He is a model student and player. He is one if the most sure handed and fastest receivers on the team! He has great knowlege and is very polished.
Last year he was a YOUNG freshman starting at a position that that requires more skills than average along with good QB play. Timing is key between the QB and receiver.
Quinn did get open and often! When Trey finally was thrown to it was almost shocking. On one of the Diarse receptions over the middle he was almost over thrown but he made ajustments and could because the QB sold the defense on another play. Quinn was targeted over the middle because the QB lead the defense right to him. Quinn would have done very well running hail mary routes also.
Haters are going to hate.
Quinn will play regardless! He's not one dimensional! This year will be better than last year and that's a fact.

its absolutely hilarious that some of y'all think that a majority white board wants to see a kid fail because he is also white.

We are just calling it like we see it. He didn't do anything last year to show that he is worth the hype that some people give him on this board. When given the playing time, Diarse was more effective and is a better blocker.

Add in Dural and Dupre, obvious 1 and 2 on the depth chart, a big spring from Chark, and Tyron Johsnon coming in... Quinn is going to need to play a lot better if he wants playing time this season.

And the entire rest of the season when he didn't do anything of note.

I only mentioned his race because it has been posted on this thread! What does that matter and why is it allowed?
As far as who's better, everyone has their opinion.

If you'd read you would see that I answered my question about what they have in common.

Race wasn't it.
Idiot.

I did see one or two dumb a$$ comments mentioning race. Leave that sht on the political board.

I personally love CL as the starting DT beside DG. I too thing Quinn was given a golden opportunity to take WR3 by the horns and dropped the ball. He is definitely not out of the race though. Coach Ball loved what he some from TQ over the spring. They all need to ball out or lose a spot.

You're gonna be disappointed when DeSean Smith finishes the season with more receptions than your boyfriend, Quinn.

TQ does not deserve the shite he gets on this board. Some of the dumbest posters on this site in this thread and when you consider the poli-board thats saying a lot. I expect him to do quite well this season.

Too bad our underachieving qb didn't get thrown under the bus after his first couple (dozens) of mistakes. We might've had some experience at that position by now. It's not like we salvaged any wins.

Get this stupid shite out of here. He was benched against NMST, then lost his starting job. The next guy f**ked up royally the next episode so he got his job back.

Y'all really need to let this go. He was a super raw QB that didn't even know the plays and was afraid to stay in the pocket.

Its a new year, but you keep bringing up the same old bull.
