I'm pretty sure the point here is that AJ's shortcomings vastly outshine TQ's, yet for a select few idiots TQ is what's holding the offense back.

Calm down Francis.

Don't bother arguing with geauxpack or 5alive... They've been Quinn haters since when LSU was recruiting him.

Wow you have tunnel vision don't you? According to the majority of this board, Jennings is holding the entire team back just being in school.

People say Quinn will get passed up, y'all want to throw a fit and try to campaign about him being unselfish and a hard worker, "Beckham and Landry had drop problems", etc. Yet people shite on Jennings all day, every day, even when he says something positive, and people just roll with it.

That's what I'm talking about. You're blasting a hundred posts in this thread trying to defend Quinn, who hasn't even been called names, yet the same time you are also blasting Jennings like he has gotten very little criticism at all. WTF?

Oh and FYI Harris is the one that nearly got Quinn decapitated against Auburn.

Nobody has come even remotely close to saying that "TQ is what's holding the offense back" or that "TQ was a bigger problem than Jennings." We are all aware that the the QB play was the biggest issue with last years offense.

But, you can still critique the other guys on the field. Just because player A struggles more than player B doesn't mean player B gets a pass and his troubles / mistakes on the field are just wiped away. And in some people's opinion, Diarse was better than Quinn was last season with the same QB. That's all.

But keep deflecting it to Jennings though.

Yes I'm 14.

Is it really that hard for you to accept that Quinn will be 5-6 on our WR depth chart? Did you even watch our games? Diarse, who was also a freshman last year, is more complete, reliable, and made more plays throughout the season.

Just because someone got a little playing time as a freshman doesn't mean a player won't come around and jump him on the depth chart. Which actually happened in the middle of last season with Quinn.

Hopefully Dupre will be featured like Kiffin used Cooper.

at this point Dupre isn't in Cooper's neighborhood, plus I don't see Cam telling the QB to simply throw it to Dupre if he's open, otherwise run.

No son, we don't use that word here. You're special, reading your posts, very special in fact. You really know your stuff, now go wash your face and get your helmet and knee pads on, it's time to go out to the playground.

No, I want Quinn replaced by Diarse because he did infinitely more in his time playing than Quinn did in his.

Quinn has much more upside, IMO. I like both but Diarse just isn't a dynamic route runner. To me he is a tweener, his talents fit tight end more but he doesn't have the size. I expect both to be spot players this year, but Quinn has more breakout potential.

Diarse is so much better than Quinn. I never understood why Diarse got as few targets as he did last year.

Same here. Diarse is a baby bull with the ball in his hands. He has Dez Bryant type ability in his run after catch.

Tyron Johnson will hopefully burst into the scene. He reminds me a lot of Sammy Watkins, just perhaps a step slower. Not the tallest or fastest but great in space, runs feat routes and catches everything.

It is tough to compare Quinn and Diarse. Two different types of WR's that will be used in different situations that best suits their skill set.

There's definitely a lot of talent at the WR position right now. It's a very versatile group where each player brings something different to field. Hopefully a year of experience of being the system will allow all these players to have the opportunity to let their talent shine through. One thing Johnson has going for him differently than the guys going into last season is that he doesn't have to come in & be "the man". He can just focus on playing his role & executing when his number gets called.

Definitely. I was moreso agreeing that Diarse's number should have been more because his ability after the catch. I think Quinn just had the freshman jitters last year. It's a whole different ballgame from going to being primarily an "outside the number" in high school to being thrown into the slot his freshman year in college. It takes some time to get used to working over the middle where the linebackers roam. It takes experience of being able to know where they are otherwise you risk getting decleated by one.
