I wouldn't worry about the Bama game, it may be the 4th hardest game on the schedule.

I would worry about going to Auburn-they are going to be really good next year and that will be our toughest game. Ole Miss game will be difficult.

Some folks just have too much idle time on their hands! A job might help!

It's not. Beating the gumps has nothing to do with his paycheck or contract.

Doesn't matter....since little Nicky is the greatest all time, Les gets a gimme with that game. We can't use the best coach/program as a measuring stick. LSU is supposed to accept 2nd or 3rd in the west and concentrate on beating that powerhouse in Oxford.

We're making Bama into our Moby-Dick.

It bears repeating - the University of Alabama football team has lost exactly 7 games since the beginning of the 2008 season (nearly 6 full seasons).

2008 - Florida (SEC-CG), and Utah (Sugar Bowl)

2010 - USCe, LSU, Auburn ($cam Newton)

2011 - LSU

2012 - aTm

And in the losses to Alabama since Saban arrived, LSU has been beaten by 6, 9, 21, 4, and 21 points. I don't like to qualify losses, but over that same stretch, Bama has beaten Arkansas by 52 points, Auburn by 49, Tennessee by 41 (in Neyland), Michigan State by 42 (Cap One), Florida by 28, and Ole Miss by 45, among other more epic beatings of FCS and mid-major schools.

So we should just be excited that we're paying Top 5 money to feel good about not losing like other teams

So everyone assumes we would have beaten UGA in the championship game too. We can't know this.

Of course we can IT'S THE RANT Just like we can assume had CLM not faked the FG or ran the Warecat we would have won!!! Assumptive logic is par for the course here.

No one ever seems to say, "Hey, if we hadn't given up 2 TDs in under 2 minutes we would have won"

I don't know about that, but they can't help but have a drop off in their passing game. I think our defense is much closer to our standard earlier in 2014, and a competent offense should put us in a position for a SEC-CG run.

I'm still looking for a dominating guy on the DL, but everybody looked better against a pretty potent aTm offense on Saturday - and we don't lose much off the defense except Loston and Barrow (unless Freak goes early, which should not be advised at this point.)

It's not, I think most have come to accept LSU will most likely lose to Bama as long as Saban is there. As long as Miles wins 10 games we should be happy.

It will never be given a break on here as long as Saban is in Gumpland and you know it.
