all these quotes were shiitte. He was a horrible NFL QB and this was predictable.

Utter bullshite.
Are you literally suggesting you have more insight into what a college qbs film and play suggests than nfl scouts, coaches, and gms?

did you see Jamarcus play in the nfl. horrible.

No shite... nothing about his play at lsu showed he was gonna suck in the nfl.
Nothing from his coaches(who gave him glowing marks with his ability to carry 4 or 4 packages into a snap).
Nothing from his qb play(the gold standard of a top 15 alltime program).

I'm sorry you want to rewrite what Jruss was at lsu... facts shite on your hindsight opinions.

The wonderlic is not a predictor of good play in the NFL. read the studies.

It's a predictor of intelligence. Something you have questioned.

He was HORRIBLE in the NFL

Cool... still doesn't change that he was a great qb at lsu. Have you seen me defend raiders jruss?
quote:

He was a good college QB

Good? So you're saying lsu has had 1 great qb(burrow), because jruss statistically is top 3 in every major passing category for career and single season.
quote:

This is not unusual. I love Tebow, who was one of the best college qb's of all time but he was not a good NFL qb.

Did I say it's unusual for cfb qbs to not be good in the nfl?
My point is noting JRuss did at lsu pointed to him having the nfl career he had. He got picked #1 and had tons of nfl personnel gushing over him BECAUSE of his play at lsu... not inspite of it.

How the play wasn't overturned is beyond me...Early Doucet did not catch that pass.

Rickdaddy, I hear you brother. But, gold standard my arse.:-)

Career rank at lsu
-# 4 in passing yards with just 3 years(3 of the top 5 had 4 years)
-#3 in passing tds in just 3 years
- #2 in completion %
-# 4 in total offensive yards

2006Single season rankings
- #3 in passing yards
- #2 in passing tds(only behind burrow)
- #2 in completion % ( behind only burrow)
- # 2 in qb rating(only behind burrow)
- #5 in total offensive yards

So his career ranks top 4 in every major passing category and his 2006 season is the 2nd best season for a lsu qb in history.
Please explain how this wasnt the gold standard.

Jamarcus never had a shot. I know 2 stories about Jamarcus in college:

1: friends girlfriend was his “tutor” at the Cox center. He walks in without shite while needing a paper written for class, she tells him he has to write a paper, comes in next day with a one paragraph “story” that was a single sentence, all about football. He could barely write. When she tried to explain that you need to form sentences, he said that’s what you’re for.

2: watched him walk on campus everyday with 2 different pairs of shoes on. I don’t mean at different times, I mean he had a red air Jordan on his left foot and a green adidas on right foot. Call it a fashion statement, but I’ve never seen anyone else do that. Went to LSU from 05-11 and no one did that shite.

I hated Jmarcus was snubbed for heisman finalist and thought he was one of the best players in CFB, but there’s no doubt he had the mindset of a child and no chance that goes right when you hand a child 80 million dollars.

He has learned from that experience and he’s doing better because of it. Just a tough situation that LSU failed him in, they should have taught him better. But he didn’t want to learn and LSU didn’t care to try.

Same wonderlic score as mahomes and better than Favre.

Widespread CFB replay didn’t start until the next year. I think only a few conferences had experimented up until that point.

Few realize Bradshaw also had the national high school javelin record for a few decades.

Bradshaw could make a football sing!!

His college tutor was a client of mine. He couldn’t read. I remember asking her “you mean, he doesn’t read well? Like a 3rd grade level?” She looks at me and says “No, at all”

Your client is a lying attention whore and probably a racist count. Jamarcus has matured into an upstanding member of his community.

You know who actually had trouble reading? As in he had to enter a program designed for children so that he could attend LSU? Kenny Hilliard. It’s part of his journey and not something he’s ashamed to talk about. Illiteracy in underfunded southern communities isn’t something a “smart person” laughs at.
