LF shouldnt participate in Senior Day. Sets a bad precedent. Youre telling guys like T White and K Beckwith that they arent as important. They made the sacrifice to stay for 4 years, which is what its about, not what youve done for the team. LF can get recognized when he gets subbed for in the 4 th quarter...

So if u allow Fournette to be a part of Senior Day then you must allow juniors like Jamal Adams as well. Obviously the one's who plan to declare need to get the same fair treatment.

This is what I recall from PP7's last game. At some point in the second half they came on the PA and said something to the effect of "Patrick Peterson, The Great All-American". The place went nuts and it was a cool moment and a proper send off. Do the same for LF. PP7 did not participate in senior day and LF7 shouldn't either.

Let's not fool ourselves. There really isn't the same level of sacrifice for guys like Fournette versus someone that isn't leaving all of that money on the table.

O should let all of the juniors who will likely be departing to be captains. They will get to walk out and be announced and have their moment with the crowd. Everybody wins.
If they only allow a certain number of captains let them all walk out be announced and then send the max number to mid field.

If he doesn't participate it doesn't mean LSU won't honor him at some point as he deserves.
He has set records, bring him back at some point when he has an NFL bye, give him a plaque at halftime of a game. Just don't honor him as a Senior when he is not.

Did LSU ever allow any other greats in other sports or even football to participate in Senior day? No, because it takes away from the men like Kendell Beckwith who came back to play another year at LSU instead of getting paid.
Manieri didt have Alex Bregman out there on senior day.

I normally am against people leaving early ,but if Fournette is definitely a high first round pick he has to go. He plays a position that is prone to injury and subject to rather short careers. Go get the money and good luck to you !
