How do you approach this game with Senior Day and possibly your last home game here? It's going to be very emotional for some guys. Some guys have been here all four years. I believe they've had an incredible run and it comes to an end. Sad to say. What about you? The juniors, we're going to talk about it, everybody that has a chance to come out. We're going to talk about it as a whole with Coach O, get his opinion on whatever he thinks we should do.

How open is your mind going to be going into this meeting with the juniors and Coach O? At the end of the day, man, nobody wants to leave college. Nobody is ready for the real world. I know I'm not, to be honest. We've got to wait and see when we talk to Coach O.

Gotta think he'll be apart of Senior Day ceremony. Would be weird if not. Really weird.

He's a junior. He won't be a part and shouldn't be a part.

Why would he be a part of senior day?

it'd be weird if he were a part of senior day. He is a junior.

Weird like him not being a part of meetings with the Defensive Backs? Or weird like him not being a part of ceremonies to honor Great Canadians in History?

Senior day is for seniors that sacrificed another year and took the gamble on not getting injured. If LF wants to participate, then he needs to stay and make that same sacrifice. That being said, HE GONE

Both of these are very disappointing.

I would be sad if we didn't honor one of the all-time great Tigers in his last home game, simply because he is a junior. How dumb and silly. He gave us just as much/more than the seniors did.

I don't understand why people cannot see senior day as a chance to honor Tigers in their last home game. Seniors get their moment and recognition for graduating at graduation.

So, you're suggesting we replace Senior Day with MVP Day?

But we had guys who ended up changing their mind last eat that stayed. Had they been honored as juniors and then stayed that's honoring twice. Not the point.

Personally I would rather, in those rare situations, have to sometimes honor a Tiger twice than to see guys like Fournette and any other early NFL detractor leave without honoring them.

Some of you take this way too serious. They aren't handing out diplomas. No one is getting hurt by recognizing non-seniors for their hard work and memories as a Tiger.

It's a choice they make and all choices have consequences be them big or little.

I dont take it serious. But I am somewhat in the Gordy Rush camp that dislikes senior day. Too much distraction for my liking.

Could we do it on one of the days not designated as Senior Day?

We let juniors who are graduating walk out for senior day. Fournette is essentially graduating. He isn't coming back to play another game here in his life, we all know that. He won't earn his degree, but there is a good reason for that.

If Fournette "made that sacrifice", it would be grounds to slap anyone who told him that was even a marginally good idea.
