Neither does Tebow, because he didn't beat Alabama after that Utah bowl game.

Lee was quoted as saying he was IN the game plan for the game, but that part of the plan was never initiated.
Blackwell and Miles stated there was a lot of offensive plan that never materialized because it was all predicated on the run. The o-line must get stronger and better to ensure we can get 2.5 to 3 yards on-demand when running against an Alabama type defense. No more of this slim and trim o-line crap.

You may have solved the mystery!!

they all threw 20 or less times a game
No. They threw 20 times or more. Tebow 22. And some of those QB carries were scrambles that started as pass plays
The guy looked at a stat line and acted like he hit on something

Now the rest of the mystery: how does a snapper from Florida who played one year as a freshman at LSU for Saban 11 years ago get air time on a Bama radio station to breakdown the BCSNCG?
Posted on 1/11/12 at 7:58 pm to stapuffmarshy
OL signed in 1991 Brian Ward was the gentleman from the radio in Mobile today.

Everyone needs to step back and look at it in perspective: Jefferson WAS plan B. Lee, who was plan A, already had failed (back in November). Lee OR Jefferson were both good enough to finish the season undefeated; ONLY Jefferson was going to give us a fighting chance to beat Bama.
Wrong.
Again.
Just like playing LSU, beating bama's D happens through the air. Mix in a scramble or two and that's how it works.
bama knew JJ couldn't beat them thru the air.
They were right.
Miles choked - pure and simple by not adapting or altering the plan.
HUGE gaffe.

Kinda what I thought. Les Miles was boxed in with a horrible QB situation.
Absolute bullshite.
If the QB situation was so dire with options one and two, there was always option three. I have a feeling Mettenberger will cause more people to question Miles shitty use of personnel in the BCG with his play next year.

Lee has been disaster against Bama.
You didn't watch the game last year.

another solid adjustment were the wr screens against the bama secondary. Usually need to set up the deep ball to have those work
at least intermediate throws. we ran too much i form twins and i form normal. it allowed bama to keep 8 and 9 in the box while playing man press on our WR's. we should have went to 4 wide to stretch them horizontally and ran out of that to help the pass ing game then threw out of that also. it would get guys out of the damn box.

Said we needed to stretch field and those adjustments were made at half,
Why didn't we try to stretch the field from the opening gun?

The words stretch the field and Jefferson go together? That's the reason for the offensive passing explosion in the last 2 games. I guess this guy Ware is basically saying LSU has no chance of beating Saban for the next 4 years? All we have are pocket QBs who can sling it for the near future. We will beat them again even without the special offensive weapon that is Jordan Jefferson.

Maybe I'm missing it but it seems to me he didnt say they beat bama via the run, just that they were running qbs which can cause havoc in how saban defends the pass. The stats back that up - these qbs that are threats to run That beat bama have a pretty good average per completion.
