Lee has been disaster against Bama.

he's been hit or miss. even though he threw the 4 INTs in 08, he made some plays, like our first TD, and on the last scoring drive to get us to OT. he came off the bench cold last yr to make that pass to Rueben to seal the win.

given that Jordan wasn't doing anything, and Lee's played well outside the few passes he threw on Nov. 5, he shoulda gotten a chance.

Everyone needs to step back and look at it in perspective: Jefferson WAS plan B. Lee, who was plan A, already had failed (back in November). Lee OR Jefferson were both good enough to finish the season undefeated; ONLY Jefferson was going to give us a fighting chance to beat Bama.

So in other words, the coaches gave up? Since JJ was our ONLY chance to beat Bama, and it was obvious after the 1st half that he didn't have it, our only choice was to keep doing the same thing over and over until the clock ran out. Wow, I feel much better now.

BTW, Tebow did NOT beat Saban after the Utah game.

BTW neither JJ or Lee ever really had leadership qualities.

I disagree. Neither fit into this offense. The o-line is not good enough against Alabama at pass-blocking for Lee and not good enough at run-blocking for JJ. And both had 3 years of GC to be de-programmed from. Look at what he did to the kid in Maryland in one year.

Someone please put the explain on this for me please

Copeland was out wide to block on inside screen to Ware, intended I guess to get a LB to go out there with him, didnt work, #23 covered cope on the play and blown up inside

better check that. I remember a stat during the CBS game, last 5 teams to beat Saban at Bama have thrown 20 times or LESS in the game

That's exactly what happened. Once it was clear that JJ had failed, Miles conceded and ran clock.

Very Tulane-esque.

Coaches will plan around things like these, but LSU had to throw 25-30 times to have a shot at beating a run-stuffing defense. I do believe there was a fear of having it snowball, which is why they continued to be selective throwing the ball.

And the only reason why Auburn beat Alabama was because of a total meltdown in the 2nd half after Barron whiffed on what should have been an easy INT on a long bomb that Cam Newton hung up in the air.

JJ was average-to-bad vs. Bama on 11/5 outside of ONE play, which Bama had plenty of time to prepare for. If 6 points in regulation and just over 200 yds of offense is good in your book, then your standards for a QB/offense is pathetic.

JJ was also shitty versus UGA.

Reverting back to last's years offense for this game was a major fail. Relying on JJ to be like Cam/Tebow is beyond stupid because he can't pass or run worth a shite.

then they had no shot with the two QB's they currently use

at one point I also thought hell give Mett a shot. After time, that would have been a bad decision as well. While I agree JL should have gotten a shot at one point, I also know that OL was dominated and JL would have been concussed

I hate to entirely destroy the guy's theory, but it seems Tebow beat Bama via the pass, too

Les joked last week about using the Oregon game plan. He should have stuck with it.

This. I talked to one of the guys after that game and he told me that every play he was in for the guy he was going up against knew exactly what he was supposed to do.

THIS

And their 4 man rush whipped our asses ALL night long...while keeping a back in...

So to break it down for the "throw it down field" crowd. We had 4 to throw to, they had 7 to cover. For this to work you MUST get time. WE had none. Tom Brady would have been screwed.
