For those who have a problem with the way administration has handled this.

What would you have done or be doing differently?

I personally don't have a problem with the way things are being handled.

The administration has been quiet except for one board guy spouting off last week. So I don't even know what the admin is even doing. So how can I have a problem with it. It'll shake out in the coming days.

Nothing has been leaked. It's just conjecture and speculation from media and fans.

As long as we've got our new coach by the end of next week I'll say they handled it OK. But if they don't and we're just going to be searching, I hope Alleva loses his job over it.

Not dropping the article. They could have accomplished the same thing, by not planting the article when they did.
They could have told that to Les behind close doors after the Arkansas game.

And even though the admin has been silent, if Les stays it would be pretty disappointing at this point.

Alleva has boxed himself in and thus he's boxed the program in. After the Ole Miss game, he should have said that Les has his full confidence, even if that wasn't true. It would have kept the media at bay and prevented speculation.

But because he didn't, he's basically in a position where he has to fire Les. Because if he doesn't, than other coaches will tell recruits that they don't know who will coach LSU in 2017 and the LSU guy coming in your living room may not be there in a year. All this despite the fact that if we don't get Jimbo or Chip Kelly, the best we can do is a lateral move. Mullen and Fedora are fine coaches, but you're going to spend over 10 million to buy out Miles' contract for one of them?

Also, Les deserves more respect them he's gotten from Alleva. He leaves as the greatest coach in LSU football history. I don't care if he snookered Alleva by negotiating with Arkansas into a better LSU contract - he earned every penny of it. And he ran a program free of scandal or embarrassment. Yes, Jimbo is probably an upgrade over Les, but that doesn't mean you treat Les like crap.

I thought this earlier, but after the moffit tweets , I'm not so sure it's not someone on the staff leaking stuff out.

Not letting anything leak out, for starters.

If something got out, put an end to it publicly so it doesn't turn into some speculation circus, like it has; leaving Miles to fend for himself.

I hate how Alleva says nothing and just let Miles deal with it on his own. Alleva should've done something publicly, even if he and Miles don't see eye to eye. Give Miles that much respect at least.

Have the AD actually make a statement even if it's bleak as frick so the Coaches and team aren't distracted with major off the field issues?

Joe Alleva is worthless and it's amazing how quick this fanbase is to liking him and how much faith they have in a man that just merely weeks ago was almost universally agreed he was the weak link in the athletics department.

They should have already announced that the A&M would be his last game. That way we could all give him a nice send off/tribute this Saturday.

Perhaps they asked him about this and he said he'd rather it be about the team and senior day.
