I attended both games and sat in the same section both times.
Nice.

I noticed that TCU got considerably more time on the jumpbotron both in videos & fan shots. It seemed to pump up the TCU fans whenever they played one of their videos so I frowned a little about it.
Well, they are local so I can understand that.

The most important question: Did you see the TCU titties allegedly broadcast on Jerruh's big screen? If so, how did they look?

Sorry, no. We didn't even hear about the bewbies until we got home and checked TD.
And, yes. Expectations seemed to be a little lower this year. I enjoyed hearing the excitement when we started passing. It was like watching children open presents on Christmas morning.

I've been to tons of neutral site games there and every time, the "home" team plugs videos that are played at their own stadium.
I assume it's part of the contractual agreement between the schools.

It was a bit more TCU on the big screen. Our motivational video in the 4th quarter was perfectly timed though. Fans came alive after that. The folks in my section, 239, were just in shock from the air attack. It was like Christmas.

They played that LSU radioactive hype video and LSU fans went wild.
When they played the radioactive hype video, that was the nail in the coffin for the frogs. I was so pumped after that

Was it that one sided against Oregon?
It was pretty heavily one sided towards us against oregon

It definitely felt pro-TCU as they piped in music after every score but none for us.
Honestly that pumped our team up. You could tell it gave us that extra zip

It seemed TCU student section was louder than ours. There were more TCU commercials and stuff as well.

FWIW I thought the game was pretty even sided. Though I was pretty drunk
From what I remember 2011 was pretty much a home game for us

It was my first visit to Jerry World. I too sat in 440 and I think my wife and I were the only 2 TCU fans in that section. There were 3 bama fans though?
The architecture was amazing! Clean, open, massive! The jumbo screen was huge.
But it sucked for a college game. I could barely hear TGBFTL and could not hear TCU's smaller band. It was so bad that I was a verse off on the alma mater at the begining of the game. I thought LSU was about 65% of crowd which was expected considering the size of the schools. Of course two purple teams makes it hard to tell. LSU was MUCH louder when they cheered but I think many fans were surprised by TCU and it quited them down more than normal. I really did not hear the typical LSU third down defensive roar until late in the third.
I thought the big screen coverage was very well divided. As others mentioned LSU media was well prepped and all football related. I don't think TCU had that degree of pep film and resorted to adding volleyball and other TCU stuff to get their share. The crowd coverage had lots of coeds, both female performance teams and cheer teams, and some adults and family shots. It seemed they actually stayed on the LSU fans a few seconds longer because with the TCU girls they had to pan away before a wardrobe malfunction. Sadly I missed when they did not pan away quickly enough.
I was surprised TCU brought the frog horn. The locomotive horn encased to look somewhat like a pissed off horned frog, is a representation of the strong importance of the major rail hub in ft worth. In an open air stadium it is loud but not as loud as it was inside. I can understand fans finding that annoying. But there is no way I'm hell it is more annoying than moo state cow bells, Tenn rocky top, fla gator chop, or anything from bama. Hell I find piped in nasal Garth brooks calling baton rouve annoying as hell mostly due to remembering the days when TS did not pipe on music and the band dominated the air waves.
The lack of replays, especially of penalties or missed calls, the lack of explanation of officiating, and the lack of announcing in general has been a growing PC trend. I hate it.
I will say I was pleased to hear the stadium get quite (as best I could tell from 440) with the two LSU injuries and then clap when they both got up and walked off the field. I wish some in our section would have done the same for the TCU injury instead of the LSU chants.

I did too. There were LSU commercials and fans on the screen frequently. I guess when you're used to going to LSU games, you take in the Mike's Kids Club ads as background noise, but then the TCU ads were jarring and more noticeable.
Enjoyed the game, but it didn't have the oomph that the Oregon game did.

I was at both games. The Oregon game atmosphere was by far more intense. The frog fans I encountered for the the most part were just happy to be there, and they were mostly good looking females. We sat in section 201 and I estimated 70-30 split for LSU but could have been less. Not all of us wore gold... This was not a blood game but a friendly. TCU has some good folks y'all. I will be pulling for them the rest of the year.

I got no problems with the TCU preference. It was not like that for Oregon that I recall.

This years game felt like a neutral site game. 50/50 crowd. LSU crowd didn't seem quite as pumped up. TCU crowd wasn't as pumped either.
I agree but thought both teams made plenty of noise...

I was at the game and took this photo of the big screen. They showed this guy several times.
